Now you can fuck them up (best genes won't help you when mom gave you an alcohol syndrom, or if you had a pre frontal cortex damage as a child). I used to work out all chaotically and I figure the biggest game changer was me a writing things down getting a point of reference. same for weight. you don't need to make crazy progress each week or train like 5 times just be consistent. like more isn't necessarily better. same goes for cardio. I just run once a week at a super slow pace but for a long time. doesn't kill my gains and my endurance is still better somehow because of that mind muscle connection and becoming better at that movement. that's what I think, but what do I know

Well in the US the reduce sugar is crucial, because there are bucket loads of it (and salt) in everything. But in general if you want to bulk, the taste of stuff doesn't matter. Just the calaries. Our ancestors walked for hours each day, they were not ripped like crazy (unless one consideres the modern western man the "avarge"). upper body muscles on the other hand are build for short bursts of high power, and no matter how big they are you will never get the sustain you can get from lower body muscles. That is why it is easy to over train the upper body, but I don't think many people have the will power to come even close to "over training" their legs. you will sooner wreck your joints, then over train on leg day.

this is separate from that (let's call it sunday). you build your power muscles up how you train em during mon to sat. but on sunday you can just go walk 30km. if you do it right, it'll be 4k calories. what you get is 4k extra calories stored in your liver. this is super nice on monday through saturday, because your body will spend that extra 4k calories sitting around on rebuilding your muscles or building new muscles probably. assuming you got your diet dialed, training for endurance on sunday, and make whatever else you're training monday to saturday work a lot better. the point isnt to do it sunday either, but just to have the ability in your body to lay out a ridiculous huge day metabolically will enable big gains. you still have to do big gains work the rest of the week though. could be wrong, but thats how it seems to me.
