You're not even playing against other players, they have bots trained on human players to make them indistinguishable, they have also been adding fake A.I voices to go along with them. It's really easy to pick out. They always fuck up enunciation where they pronounce things incorrectly, the AI is struggling to appear human.

Most of the time less than half the lobby is actual human players. In some cases, nobody in the lobby is a human player. You're playing by yourself vs bots. They control the entire experience, in fine granular detail. It depends on player count, they try to get you into human matches but the actual player count is so low there's a strong chance that there's enough bots in your matches your input into the game as little to no effect on the outcome of the match

I used to play vidya but grew bored out of it. Not really an issue for me. Not only I'm already too busy with work and family, but I also draw and read a lot. Some video games have interesting stories but during the time it takes to fully explore a good RPG, I can read several books and entire manga/comics series. It's much cheaper too.

IDK it's kinda iffy. Like if you have a son and he is legit cracked as fuck at videogames, it is entirely plausible and within the realm of reason for him to pursue and totally legitimate career in professional video gaming and shouldn't be discouraged by default.

They don't earn too much money and few women will even encounter them or have anything meaningful to say to them if they do. Video games become a welcome break from a boring life. You can meet some cool people in MP youd never meet locally but that comes at the cost of not meeting people locally if you play too much

Good books can greatly improve your language and written skills.
Good visual arts can teach you how to present and display ideas and products better.

Video games technically can teach plenty of stuff but by themselves they're too inefficient as learning tools
due to the costs and time required. If you get in to modding/gamedev/content creation aspect of the hobby it's significantly better though, but again there much better ways to improve your technical skills using other hobbies too.
