It means i am subjected to random drug testing at any moments notice, can’t leave without permission, attend AA/NA meetings and check in with the judge regularly. As long as you are not getting high, it’s inconvenient at worst. Its especially tough for those trying to hold down a career or 9-5 because of the erratic schedule. I will know the exact details after my court date

I volunteered mentoring veterans who were in vetcourt. its the same deal as drugcourt and most of the time it was drug/alcohol related shit so the same requirements just for veterans. most of the guys had a real hard time with it but mostly because they had a chip on their shoulders. I have some advice: if you approach it as a fortunate opportunity rather than a punishment or chores, it will go very well for you, better than youd expect.

Was doing fairly well up until march of this year cause i wasnt doing what i was supposed to for my recovery. Didnt really give a shit anymore but jail changed that real fast

so crowded. i was 3 to a cell mosf of the time. the wholeplace is PC pretty much causee the dorms are 30 to 60 cots in a little area and i want to read and sleep.
its like 50% PC (cells) 25%dorms and 25% Max (only niggers)

County jail isnt as segregated as prison is. Most guys are just trying to do their time and go home as most are there for a few months maybe a year.

Some county jails will segregate all the housing units Woods, southsiders, border brothers / brothers and others. But, I haven't been to jail for twenty years.

I havent been to prison but i know for a fact the shots still get called from prison for county jails. Either by phone or letters etc.

County jail is nothing like the movie shot caller for example though. Its a lot of homeless people and first time offenders. The more violent offenders or those sentenced to prison after county are housed in a seperate area.

The uniforms have different connotations. I was in in orange which is like low risk/regular. There were red uniforms which was more serious crimes (including violence) and pedos. Then there were black and white uniforms for the worst of the worst. They were always shackled
