1. Corporate vtubers can’t be cancelled because they’re already expected to keep their nose clean by their agencies like Hololive or Phase Connect. They were never allowed to say anything controversial or even remotely political because it’s against company policy to get involved with shit like that. So there’s really no way to cancel the big girls like Fuwamoco or Biboo, because their records are spotless.

2. Small indies can’t be touched either because they literally answer to no one and work for themselves. Also there’s fucking thousands of them. You literally can not cancel them all.

3. This leaves large indies like Kirshe. They hit her because she’s big enough to have sponsorships. Yeah losing sponsorships suck, but her fanbase will still stick with her and throw money at her probably out of pity.

Basically vtubing isn’t centralized enough for a gamergate type campaign to damage it. In the off chance Pippa gets dropped by Phase Connect, she’ll probably just rebrand like Mint and Dokibird and get on with her career flying solo.

Probably. By volume, there are more lefty faggot vtubers by a colossal margin. But they also don't command any viewership because nobody wants to listen to that shit. Pippa, Kirche, Kiki, or Leaflit and Asari though, they either already made it or are making big inroads. I watched Kiki when she had like 300 subscribers and she recently celebrated 20,000 after only a couple years, which is great for a streamer.
