I honestly don't understand how you can be poor in America. I legit started at as a Temp employee at 18 out of highschool. Even on those wages I could live with 2 other roommates in a shitty small town. Everyone I worked with was so retarded that just by barely putting in effort at work I progressed past everyone, and I was saving so much money that I was able to move out and live by myself and still save/invest/whatever the fuck I want.

Even when I was working for around minimum wage as a temp I never even got close to having this little buying power. Now I rent a house, own assets, and have an upper middle class income, and I never worked unnecessary overtime. I never worked multiple jobs at once. Was never homeless or had any money scarcity at all.
