If Trump is going to start biting at corporations for being greedy, I think that'd be funny. Will TDS reign supreme anyway?
Both parties spend like drunken sailors, Republicans only really comment on keeping government spending low, otherwise financing goals are uniparty and everyday Joe don't get a cut.
If anything, Trump is possibly trying to shift the burden of costs and tax payments to corporations while cutting government spending to show fiscal responsibility to encourage their compliance. After all, American corporations love America, right? You do want to make America great again by leaving an already destitute and depressed American consumer alone, right?
Pretty smart question that I've never seen anyone ask, why should Americans pay the tariffs? Why not the corporations? They made their wealth from people spending money at their stores, right? They can afford to suffer way better than the average American even if costs are higher. The reality probably won't be as peachy as I'd like, but it's unbelievably entertaining that the president of the US told the FEMA camp warehouses to eat tariffs that they probably never wanted.
He'll be watching.
