Alice in Chains slaughtered the scene as well. I remember the marked difference in music. The glam guys were almost always exclusive, while grunge was open to every one. Listening to the grunge hit list of '93 literally had normies running to country. Which in retrospect had banger artists too. I never listened to Nirvana because they were so trendy and I hated Pumpkins fans. I still had great music. Times were different and music had meaning.
