My barber just offered me a $1 haircut if I tipped him $50

you don't need to tip. It's not a legal agreement.
You can choose not to. So take the $1 haircut.

/thread

This will not backfire at all

How much does the regular haircut cost?

ok? why would I care about mom and pop shops using tax loopholes when billionaires do it all the time?

good.

Your memeflag momma is tipping this dick tax free right now

All wages are paid in Tips. The gig economy has come full circle.

and that’s a good thing

Who the fuck is spending $51 on a haircut? Mine costs about $10

NOOOOO THE FILTHY GOYIM HAVE SOMETHING TO EXPLOIT NOT PAYING TAXES IS ONLY FOR US >:(

taxes on people who make less than 200k are a blip.
the bulk of taxes incurred from the middle class poors are actually coming from property tax, hence the mortgage scam

Probably some anons with a fuckton of hair

How bout I pay $50 for the cut and tip 0

About to pass another bill that if you earn under 166K you don't have to pay taxes and if you live in a a state with no state taxes like Texas you'll paying no taxes total failure right?

Man I need to leave this fucking hell hole of a country

no tax on tips act

american tipping culture is about to become even more insufferable.

I have a grown up job so how does this affect me personally? Is there still a push for no tax on OT or have republicans declared "mission accomplished" and gone home?

I do it almost for free the cheapest $10 hair clipper lasts me for years

CEO bonuses are considered tips.
That's the only reason why this bill passed

How long before everyone start using this as everyday normal business practice?
Can they even do it, if this law for restaurants only?

This seems like a pretty dumb tax loophole. Why not just raise the bracket on lower incomes so they lay less or no taxes?

Where the fuck are you getting $50 haircuts?

Bonus's show up on your W2 fucktard

PAY UP FAGGOTS
t. server who makes more than you
LMAO

I love Trump, he always delivers

How much do you gross per year?

$1 haircut

$50 tip

How much do you normally pay for a haircut? I go to the same stylist as my gf, but because I'm a guy and don't get as much stuff done I only pay $30. I also get it cut short so I only have to come back every 3 months. I always pay in cash anyway, so she's probably fudging the numbers already on that transaction.

How does minimum gratuity like for large events work in this bill

It was voted in 100-0 and look at the retards earning those shekels in this thread.

Why not just have a proper minimum wage for service workers in hospitality? Everyone else does it and we do it just fine. Why keep dancing around it so much.

So take the $1 haircut.

You get what you pay for.

Mine cost $80, 20 years ago.

Why even declare the tip OR the price?
Every time I don't get a receipt from some mom and pop place I KNOW they are not reporting the sale.

No sales tax.

No business profits tax.

No income tax.

Fuck the jew cunt IRS.

How long before everyone start using this as everyday normal business practice?

Never? You dont have to pay a tip. Are the store managers going to come and spit on my groceries for not leaving the store a tip lmao

t. read a reddit thread and is now an expert on tips

Could some (self-employed?) service worker ask for payment (+tip) upfront or is there some law that prevents this?

Cash tips were already non taxable
I mean... Who even declares this stuff?

Either way if you're spending 51 dollars getting a haircut you're basically female in spirit.

Calvinism and it's consequences.
American prots genuinely believe that if everyone is paid a decent wage they will all descend into debauchery. Idleness is a sin anon remember?

No tax on tips is basically the Calvinist idea of "success is godly" because if you earn good tips you deserve it while "slackers" suffers.

based and flowbee-pilled

Beta cucks and their troubles.

scissors exist

I work in blockchain and get paid in crypto. I made about 150k last year in selling a bunch of the crypto I bought at the end of 2022. Does it have to be in dollars for it to count as a tip? I have an idea

In an age where most tips are simply added to a digital transaction and then added to an employee's paycheck, it makes perfect sense. I haven't left a cash tip at a restaurant in years. I keep like $25 on me for emergencies, and I'm not about to lose $5+ of my emergency cash. It started a long time ago with the receipt add tip thing and has expanded to the iPad tips of today. Servers, cashiers, etc. haven't been able to escape most tips just being added to their paychecks and thus recorded.

American prots genuinely believe that if everyone is paid a decent wage they will all descend into debauchery. Idleness is a sin anon remember?

I can see why given the whole epstein banking pedos run the government/international order.

funny that it seems to have still ended up happening in the opposite. the poor seek escape in debauchery

That's not going to happen lmao

What happens when you run out of barber shops? Because you're never getting haircuts in that place again.

Then you get the persons cutting your hair's number and have them cut it outside of the shop.

51 dollar haircut

barber

What funny money is this? I don't know your currency.

Going to a woman to cut your hair!? Fuck that, I don't need to woman's styling my hair. I want a a mid fade, clean up on top and to talk shit with my barber.
