Yep. There's a lot of fake postings used to collect current, real emails and addresses. They can sell the lists to scammers. Some will send threatening emails demanding crypto payments. I got one that ending with a google maps image of my apartment complex.

I just got a job and they literally said I was overqualified. It's in tech but can't be outsourced to fucking India due to recent regulatory requirements. It took 8+ months, 800+ applications to get this job with no connections. I had some crypto so I thought I could try it as an experiment.
This is the only way we will have tech jobs in the future. Drastically overqualified people taking jobs well beneath their skill and talent and income level, because private equity and government have functionally ruined everything.

Real wages have been going down for 5 decades, the boomers average wage is equivalent to around 80 US dollars an hour these days.

It is bad for company stocks if they aren't hiring. So they put out fake hiring ads. Multiple rounds of interviews makes people feel like they got lucky and willing to accept a lower salary if they were laid off and need a job no matter what.
Our entire economy is built on raising the debt limit and printing more up to the new limit and repeating every year or so. That would work but manufacturing and actual production are gone and we are more of a service based economy rather than production. It quite literally is just musical chairs and boomers are just wanting to keep things going until they die. Every generation once they get in power will want to keep things going but it will make the collapse even worse.
Since under 25 are predominantly non white in the US i think it will happen in 50 years or less. Not sure if we will hold up that long but every empire in history that fell had similar circumstances. A devalued currency, allowed barbarians in, gave women increased rights, government protecting itself from its own citizens, religion losing popularity. Could go on all day but its a dead horse.
