What happens when china invades Taiwan?

IMG_2702.jpg - 612x612, 41.42K

I won't be fighting for a chink island, so nothing.

Yes you will.

Who's going to make me? I'll say and do whatever I want. It's bad optics giving a chud a gun.

that ship sailed when russia fucked up the 3 day operation and china realized how fucking bad its inevitable failure would look.

they just keep hoping for a soft reconcilation followed by slow iron fisting ala honk kong

no more GPUs

Did u actually know that these fuckers from Taiwan support the whole world with tiny microchips, without them, you can't make jack shit. And the funny thing about it is the fact that the workforce that trains people on how to make these chips does not even think of sharing this knowledge with anyone else but Taiwanese niggers.

nnnoooo they are winning too slowly

They won't do SHIT. In Russia they have a meme called "China's final warning". Basically it translates to the Chinese being cowardly faggots.

American military fighter jets regularly patrolled and performed fighter maneuvers in the Taiwan Strait, which led to formal protests being regularly lodged by the Chinese Communist Party in the form of a "final warning". The People's Republic of China released its first "final warning" to the United States on 7 September 1958 during the Second Taiwan Strait Crisis.

By the end of 1964, more than 900 such "final warnings" had been issued. However, no real consequences were levied for ignoring the "final warnings".

I'm sure there's a way around it, Jewish engineers always figure it out

Won't happen until US starts its own microchip production. Then they'll just fuck off and let Chine do whatever.

China invades, but their invasion force is greatly weakened

China floods the combat zone with missiles to keep the U.S. Navy away from Taiwan

Japan is drawn into the conflict because of the Senkakus

The Philippines is pulled in due to their disputes over the Spratlys

U.S. Navy is bloodied, but not defeated

The Americans blockade the Malacca Strait to sever Chinese oil supplies

Chinese economy is in deep shit, both due to the war and capital flight

Face with riots and the loss of power, the CCP or even army itself moves to topple Jinping

Taiwan is devastated by the war

The army lol. You're gonna be dying on that shithole while I sit in front of my computer in my underwear.

Please consult the graph.

Wumao will be on here in even greater numbers

there's multiple variables at play. is it a full on amphibious invasion or just a blockade? does the us get involved? frankly in my eyes only a blockage with no chance of american intervention has any chance of success. an actual ground invasion would probably be a disaster, ditto with american support. if america intervenes there will be heavy naval losses on both sides but eventually america will come out on top, especially if japan joins in too.

The gringo empire will begin its slow decay and inevitable fragmentation and then collapse. Turkey and Russia will probably start to make power moves in their regions and realms. And since Western Europe didn't take its wake up call seriously, gringo boots will probably be there to pick up their slack. China will probably reconcile more than Taiwan after the US's failures.

The US has to fight for Taiwan tooth and nail if they want to remain this century's power. Otherwise, the petro dollar will collapse once if the US navy gets humiliated in the SCS. The day of the unlimited fictitious Federal Reserve shekels will come to and end, as will the illusion trust in their perfidious goylem monetary system.

why would china invade its own providence?

Hahahahaha yeah ok there, bud.

Are they gonna send some sheboon Major Payne to come get us?

Yeah lol. I bet you give up the second they knock on your door.

For what it's worth. I don't think the Canada deal will go through. Greenland however, that would make more sense.

With that many people on the island, it shall surely tip over or sink.

Russia invaded by roads and still fucked up. You know how hard it is to invade a country by water?

when

Two more Chinese training operations.

Boners. Lots of tiny asian boners.

There will be a flood of refugees coming to the United States.

Roastoids would demand them all deported.

I've heard that younger Taiwanese aren't hostile to the mainland, is that true?

Trump talks about annexing Canada

pro-Trump party suddenly loses an election against a party that's more unpopular than any other time in history

Trump stops talking annexation

lmao

All of a sudden, American woman are against immigration.

it goes worse than ukraine went for russia. at least russia didn't have 60 miles of water to cross.
I wouldn't be surprised if china gets kinmen island for free (the small cost of putting the world on high alert to chinese ambitions and other international condemnation). Anything more than that and there's going to be pretty costly backlash.

The US government walks away.

The straight of Taiwan is heavily mined. China would lose a lot of landing craft getting there. Yea in the end they could take the island, but it will be bloody.

With drones, missiles and shells raining down on them and Taiwan's terrain, I doubt that they would ever take it, unless supplies stopped

Depends on what you mean by hostile I guess. Majority of people including young people want to maintain the status quo. Don’t want either independence nor reunification.

A significant portion of young Taiwanese favor maintaining the current status quo, wanting neither formal independence nor unification with China.

Desire for unification with mainland China is "incredibly low" among younger generations, even if they're not as ardent about pursuing formal independence as older generations.

Young Taiwanese increasingly identify as "Taiwanese" rather than "Chinese".

Bloody massacres are part and parcel of chinese history. They would probably be disappointed without a huge loss.

You carr yourserves chinese? you no eat us! why not?!

It is all hypothetical, just like this thread. Until China gets off their ass and actually does something, it will stay a hypothetical. They have not fought a war in decades.

China is not interested in just taking Kinmen. It wouldn’t make sense geopolitically to only take it without taking Taiwan.

A bloodbath. The island is so naturally defensible that the US in WWII opted against any invasion in large part because it was considered too costly to take. As it stands technology has made things a lot easier for the defending side of an amphibious invasion to reach out and hit the invading fleet and China has a lot of water to cross. Likely millions would die counting civilian losses even if it doesn’t escalate to WWIII

Only way would be to take out their energy sources, which can be done without American intervention

They won't invade. They won't even try.

Nobody cares about micro-dick chinks. And chink bugs don't have it in them to fight a big war like this. Especially against each other.
You're a dumb spic goblin who should be on a spic flag vpn.
Spic faggots think America will fragment and spics will get to keep some spic territory in America. 85 iq brown logic.

YELLOW PERIL

yellow4.jpg - 5100x7700, 3.42M

Little yellow men will get in boats and ride over a fair distance to land on a Taiwan beach somewhere I suppose. Then perhaps some fighting with the locals a fair share and perhaps a modest victory parade of something to that effect.
Jolly good carry on.

They're bigger and whiter these days

Not likely. The US is interested in Taiwan because it’s in a geographically important position if your goal is to contain China, so the Pentagon is likely to fully commit no matter what China does. It’s more or less the lynchpin of the entire first island chain and losing it pretty much breaks the basis of the current Pacific strategy. It would get a lot more investment than Ukraine since it’s much more important to American national interests, while checking Russia is being done on behalf of European allies.

80% of taiwans aa/ad missile systems are road mobile, meaning they would be incredibly survivable to chinese preparatory groundwork and saboteurs.
without taking out air defence china cannot land paratroopers and achieve air supremacy
without air supremacy chinese amphibious and landing vessels are vulnerable, making any kind of numerical advantage of china moot.
plenty of time for chinas adversaries to come to taiwan's defence.

The general consensus is that if the US got involved, the US is still capable of defeating China in a war. Taiwan should be able to hold them off long enough for the US to relieve them and the US would be able to defeat China.

On the other hand if the US does not get involved then Taiwan would have no choice but to surrender.
