I think it's more our inability to really perceive (some aspects of) the phenomenon. DMT and some other drugs really break down your perceptual barriers to some very basic level.
It's sort of the opposite of the visual uncanny valley. To an untrained observer, seeing something for the first time they will fill in familar details onto something strange. And potentially keep doing it, as seen with cats hooked up to MRI machines: cats mentally overlay catlike features onto human faces to make them more relatable.

So we have this world, illuminated by the light of our sun, and we are conscious of this world through that light and all the metabolic processes which exist as a consequence of photosynthesis.

We humans have the capability to modulate the third eye, and tune it into the light of a different star, and so rather than dreaming on earth with other humans, we can dream on other planets with other entities. Having dreamt with them for a long time, I have learned bits and pieces of a lost history of the soul, and how they sent people from their civilization here to earth, some of those original colonists are buried on the moon.
In those days the earth was a primeval jungle full of predatory life, but we eventually prevailed and established ancient civilizations, which slowly lost everything about this extraterrestrial history. During this process, the colonists also lost contact with their higher telepathic consciousness which linked them to the interstellar civilization. You can only die and reincarnate so many times before you forget due to the trauma of previous deaths, and everyone's souls essentially went to sleep.

I recently saw a vision within which it was golden white plasma, and within the plasma were all the stars within about 40 light years. I saw Sol and Alpha Centauri orbiting each other. On one edge I saw Arcturus, and then the other edges I saw other nearby stars. The interesting part though, was that I saw these lines connecting the stars, and they were curved. It seemed like relativity and the propagation of gravitational waves meant that the stars didn't orbit exactly where the other star was, but more so they were being influenced by the gravitational wave that the star had transmitted however many light years in the past it was far away.
I looked at wikipedia about the 3 body problem, and doesn't account for relativity and the speed of gravitational waves in any way. How could physicists have overlooked that?
