You only get so much compute per turn (per input output cycle). If the task is complex enough, you'll have to break it up over multiple. You might have to give it tips on shit it's consistently getting wrong to patch its default methods if you notice things like that. They're very 'teachable' now.

Also aerospace is hyper regulated not just by the FAA but by NADCAP, the AS9100 board, and every single aerospace major (Boeing, Lockheed, Northrup, etc.). I used to be a train tech so 24 kV to 600V APU is what I worked on. Now i do low voltage shit cuz RF.. Even if I never worked with that voltage it would be easy to learn just shut it off and measure the voltage on the terminals and caps to make sure it's off. After enough tweaks over time it becomes new tech but there haven't been any engineers that designed any new cutting edge devices e by themselves for a while beacuse its not that simple. I flunked out of EE (deservedly) but had ambitions to do SatCom/RF work. The hot topics in 2014 were Hi-Speed Fiber Optics, SmartGrids, and embedded systems. I talked to some people online and it felt like most stuff RF stuff was in the domain of military contractors and government agencies. It also seemed stagnant since nobody really talks about RF stuff unless you want to include StarLink and other space projects.

Fully networked factories are really the only thing more complex in the field because of the uptime requirements and the extremely high price of even small issues. The teams are generally much smaller also.

We do a lot since I work for a defense contractor. On my end I just have to make sure our SDRs have anti jamming capabilities, I can get into the crypto side if I want to but I would have to learn all that shit first of course.

Networking hardware and software is complex, a network engineer doesn't do any of those. They are engineers only in name. They just run config manager or VMware or some shit like that

want the whole story? my whole family (grandpas, uncles, dads) were electricians. my mom wanted to follow her dad (whom she loved and admired) but he told her it was a man's profession. so she became an electrical engineer. worked for AECOM for many years, decided corpos suck and started her own company (WBE). i took CAD in highschool, worked for her since i could, she passed away, i inhereted the company. we do municipal Water and Wastewater. now looking to hire, can only find pajeets and faggots. would love to hire someone who knows whats going on in the world.
