I think modern jet fighters have integral fuel tanks - which is to say that certain compartments of the airframe are just sealed off and hold fuel. Perhaps you've heard of "wet wings." This is the most efficient arrangement - having one structure do double-duty saves a lot of weight. Note that these fuel tanks aren't pressurized.

If you want to store liquid hydrogen, you have to have compartments that can contain something at about 20 K, and under a few atmospheres of pressure. You would need to build something that looks more like a rocket stage, or a spaceplane, than a jet fighter.
