The Cherokee Indians did no such things. Yes there were more aggressive tribes but the Cherokees to which i belong was a peaceful tribe and had peaceful relations at first with the whites until you started your violence against us. It was my tribe that you made walk the trail of tears.

On the one hand blankets were a big currency and germ theory wasn't established yet. (heck there are still people today that don't wrap their heads around the concept of infection).
