The ignition was noticed in the area of the two outermost hangars, which were built between October 2024 and March 2025. In total, 6 new hangars were built on the territory of the airfield.

After yesterday’s explosion in the news cycle about the Ukrainian attack, I will calm down the war reporting today and instead address a topic that one of my followers wanted me to cover—namely, the situation with Russian food production.

For the past year, we’ve been hearing about massive price increases in basic food items. When we check Russian websites for food prices, we can confirm that they have risen by 25–166%, depending on the product, over the course of a year.

Media first started reporting on a shortage of butter, followed by a shortage of eggs and mayonnaise, and now a shortage of sugar and potatoes. Even Putin himself has acknowledged a potato shortage in Russia, and the government has removed VAT and tariffs on potato imports from “friendly” countries.

Russia’s total grain production for 2025 is expected to be between 125 and 129.5 million tons, which is a marginal increase from 2024 levels. Wheat production is estimated at about 82.5 million tons, which is lower than previous peak levels.

Weather conditions have been a significant factor. Regions like Rostov, Voronezh, and Belgorod have suffered from frost and drought, leading some areas to declare an agricultural crisis. Despite some rainfall, concerns remain over low soil moisture levels, which could negatively affect harvests.

Additionally, grain reserves are at their lowest in five years, creating further pressure.

All four drivers who were operating Timofeev's vehicles at the time of the attacks have been detained. ASTRA has identified them.

"Law enforcement agencies are searching for Timofeev Artem Valerievich, born 08(06).12.1987, a native of Donetsk, possibly involved in the attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on the 'Belaya' military airfield on 1.06.2025," the publication states. The authorities also published a photo from Timofeev's wanted notice there.
According to database leaks studied by ASTRA, Timofeev has Russian citizenship and recently resided in Miass, Chelyabinsk region. He was born in Zhytomyr (Ukrainian SSR) and, until March 2018, was registered in Kyiv on Prirechnaya Street. Also, as an additional phone number at one of the banks, Timofeev listed the contact information for the Agro-Industrial Company "OFKOR - Grain Production," based in Miass, Chelyabinsk region. On 26.09.2024, he received a category B, B1, M driver's license in the Chelyabinsk region in exchange for a "foreign driver's license without an exam."
