Also I'll say with my experience, most self-distributors like pepsi/coke/frito lay use smaller box trucks or the smallest trailer class A for local delivery. If it's a large truck without a lift gate, it's probably going to a loading dock. Even most small class A trailers will use a ramp instead of a loading dock because it's cheaper.

They're moved from warehouse to warehouse and docks to the building to unload and doesn't need a lift in the back to unload..
The city trucks and delivery trucks to customers have the lift so the driver can unload at a customer but warehouse to warehouse trucks with wagons do not!
