Are you actually Russian?
Yeah.
What's the narrative from your government about the war
It's quite boring and obvious: we will win, we're advancing steadily, all of that.
What's worth mentioning is that all the most brave and brazen statements I see here are made either not by government or by Medvedev and others who cosplay huge patriots for reputation reasons. The government itself is very restrained in its statements. For Russians, its easy to to distinguish one from the other, for Westerners, I guess not, so be careful. Restrained ones are meaningful.
and about Ukraine
Our brother nation under corrupt government that supports neonazi ideas and is militarized by the West to threat Russia.
the EU
As I can put it, it sees EU as our partners that are driven into conflict by a malicious neoliberal ideology that's already dying. The government doesn't see Europe as our eternal foe, that's actually quite surprising even for me.
Oh, and it's the source of propaganda, yeah.
the US?
Quite the same as EU, actually. It used to be painted as the main lead behind the whole thing but with Trump it changed to more calm tone.
Are you familiar with what Western governments are saying?
More or less. Though it's hard for me to distinguish meaningful statements from political babbling.
