Actually don't use hydrocortisone, just use Neosporin and Aquaphore. Hydrocortisone is used for other injuries

How'd it happen? Looks similar to when a pneumatic screwdriver slipped and went through my thumb when I worked at a factory. Also didn't see anyone, too expensive. My manager made me wash it out with dawn hand soap, hurt like a fucking bitch but I didn't get an infection so I guess it worked.

The bleeding has already stopped. Used to install glass for a living. It cuts clean enough to where most glass cuts are an easy fix. Just dont use any peroxide or anything on it. Tape it up, if it keeps splitting open then yeah go have a stitch or two put in or find one of those stitch kits with the glue at CVS or something.

you bring up a good point with the edges of the wound. if the edges can't be pulled together and taped/glued, that's when stitches are best as it'll heal far quicker.

actually keeping is wet will speed recovery and leave less scaring. i had a nasty cut to the bone one time but didn't want t bother with stitches. kept it clean but covered so that the top of the wound (which was fairly wide) did not dry or harden. healed quickly and certainly no less tidily than if stitches had been applied. even got nerve feeling back in the finger tip after a few months.

Put leeches around the wound and add some mud and swamp water, it should heal next two days.

lol its not the cost, a single stitch at a clinic can cost less than a doc office check up visit. disinfect and close with glue. superglue is fine, but there are also brands for this purpose that may work better. keep the wound closed and moist the whole time and it will heal faster and leave not scar.

Guy said the doctor was in the room for 2-3 minutes. $4,500 bill. He only makes $13 an hour. That's 2 months of pay.
