I still have opinions about everything. I just debate the validity of them with morons less. My go-to at this point is just agreeing with morons, then leaving and watching them (or not) fuck up everything they touch while I advance my own plans.

Because there is no “high trust” society anymore. Trust is something that can be exploited and everyone feels like they have to be one step ahead

It's a common stress reaction to living in a hostile and unfriendly environment for too long
If things don't change for the better soon you'll see people starting to simply lash out violently like dogs backed into a corner
And that's a good thing
Until the experts admit men can`t become women I`m going to continue holding the scientific establishment in low regard. They cave to money and politics too easily to uphold the scientific method. They nonetheless demand my unquestioning adherence to their dogma, with each passing day they resemble more a cult then a method for ascertaining truth. There is also a crisis in peer replication, and an ongoing popularity contest where scientists sign off on each others work based on reputation rather then actual replication. The editors of the major journals are also comped. Not to even mention the immense bias in science journalism further tainting the results. In short science is in shambles. I`ll admit much of the science is over my head and I`m not qualified to discern the truth of many things on my own, so it`s a shame that I have to.
