Yes. Sauna culture are not as widespread here as in Finland, but it still exist.

Well, there are way better places in EU to visit. Thing is, that because we are not very popular place for tourism, then outside from Riga (capital city), in summertime it is way less crowded. There are nice places like Kuldīga. With very low tourist traffic. If don't mind shit roads, can travel with own car.

Countries like Poland might be richer on average but they also have less opportunity, think about how many high-tech industries Russia has like aerospace engineering compared with EU countries that would concentrate such into Germany and France - and far less rat race competition because it's not as connected to global capitalism either physically or culturally.

You're forgetting to factor in the cost of living, wages and salaries are nothing without comparing the living costs. Everything in Russia is dirt cheap, especially because of Soviet-remnant aspects of the economy and a weak ruble. America might have the highest wages in its big cities but significant costs of living and lots of "hidden fees" (higher education cost, health insurance, car insurance, etc).
