Then 15 years ago the social housing company renovated the building and replaced all the windows and the sills with new thicker windows, triple glazing, and tilt/swing mechanisms.
It improved insulation, sure. It improved insulation so much that the summer nighttime temperatures went up by 6°C, meaning that if it was 30°C outside during the day, it stayed 28°C all fucking night with the windows open and there's nothing you can further do about it.
The apartment I live in now is worse. That daytime heat vingers for 5 nights, with the windows open.
And yes there's regulations to prevent you from having to endure 5 nights of, say, 37°C in your bedroom, but there's fuckall anyone can do about it because lawyers are gay and social housing companies are Jewish, and no amount of murder will make the nights colder.
