During Nazi Germany times the Horst Wessel scandal involved some weird situation where in Horst Wessel's girlfriend's Communist landlord acussed him of pimping out his girlfriend who was a prostitute. According to Horst Wessel she had once been a prostitute but through National Socialism she had reformed, and additionally the Communist landlord didn't actually own the property, rather the Communist just rented it from someone else and they were sub-renting it to his girlfriend. I suspect there might have been some kind of brothel situation with the Communist landlady (or at least official signer of the least) being the "Madamme"
Overall the situation seems a lot more embarrassing for Communism because what the hell was a landlady doing sub-renting out rooms to prostitutes. Clearly the Communist was engaging in economic exploitation of those women. Believeing "sex work is real work" is fine and all, but Communists are supposed to be against economic exploitation and I'm pretty sure the Communist making the accusations was the one economically exploiting that woman through her position as a middle-man in the rental scheme. (I'm sure the Communist was not extracting any wealth from this relationship and was just organizing a brothel as a charitable endeavour allowing the sex workers to keep the full value of their labour)
You can argue it is also embarrassing for the Nazis because Horst Wessel was the boyfriend of a prostitute, lol you can't reform a hoe you simp, etc you know the usual stuff. However that line of reasoning is just stupid because "simping" is only negatively regarded by such a small portion of the population that the "Communist" morality is essentially the default position and so the Communist failing to live up to "progressive morality" is worse than the Nazi failing to live up to "traditional morality" because most people don't believe in anti-simping. Ultimately people should live up to both traditional and progressive morality.
