I raised a stink and found out that this was a brand new standard practice - patients who died, regardless of reason, would get classified as covid deaths if they tested positive for covid 19. They were juking the stats to get more federal funding. Then there was the new "hydroxychloroquine + propofol + vent" therapy that was literally killing people.
I got out of the industry a few months later.
