I’m gonna guess that it’s absolutely fucking not.

He's basically who Clint wishes he could be.

You can’t kill Charles Bronson.

Forgot pic r.

IMG_3503.jpg - 1842x2560, 766.73K

made me cry and the visuals are rad

Untitled.png - 513x752, 644.27K

I don't think I've watched a single movie with him in it. I'm gonna watch field of dreams tonight!

Is that Perez Hilton?

Amadeus

There's hundreds, but how about:
-The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
-Tron
-Edge of Tomorrow (3D if possible)

Based. I have that film on DVD. There's a gunfight about 20 minutes into the film and Bronson gets a headshot and it's really gory and bloody.

Good movie I’d give it an 8
Great movie but it’s one of those that peak in the middle and die out like Interview with the Vampire. I give goodfellas 8.5. But being from Jersey its a must watch.

I give this a 9 just because you have to see it. It’s a fun quest movie and cult classic.

IMG_3504.jpg - 1920x1080, 241.21K

Yea he was an inspiring dude. He was 5’8” but ripped. He was of Lithuanian decent.

The fact this was not the first response is a crime

what do you think anons, moved to Anon Babble or nuked?

movies are political

This movie is in black and white. Only gay boomers like black and white movies.

Please wait a 2 weeks before making a post

Gohatto.jpg - 500x716, 51.58K

His real last name is Buchinsky.

It doesn't really peak in the middle and die out, the way the film is structured by Scorcese and Pilleggi. It's more of a montage than a carefully drawn out story taking it's time. Which is what makes it so good but is also why it has up's and down's. It's a fun ride with some very, very good moments.

Now picrel is like GoodFellas but far more matured in style and writing.

Great movie, very goodfellas/godfather.

I remember liking it and giving it a 6.7/10.

*blocks your path*

IMG_7501.jpg - 250x369, 97.65K

It deserves more than that. By the time Ransom is stabbing Ana de Armas' character in slow-motion, the whole plot and writing reaches the a most fantastically entertaining climax, and the million other things that make the movie great, in it's obvious colour design, sound design, cast and brilliant writing. Great film by Rian Johnson, very nice comeback.

Also, I could glaze picrel all day.

For the first 30 minutes of the movie you may think im crazy for guving this 9/10. But when it hits, it hits hard. Right into the jungle.

IMG_3508.jpg - 1920x2880, 1.34M

One of the most insane movies of all time. Really fucks you up.

Yea nah

IMG_3463.jpg - 471x388, 13.51K

It's rather slow and unfriendly to the audience in more ways than one. While any movie with Robert De Niro is certainly good and Cazale is a fucking legend to see, it just doesn't hit for me personally, although the Russian roulette is very interesting to watch. Although, I've only seen it once, and upon second viewing I'm sure I'll re appreciate it.

John_Cazale.jpg - 288x346, 14.63K

This movie just crossed my radar. Supposedly it’s one of the most underrated movies of all time. I’ve never seen it mentioned in any pol/movie threads. Anyone seen it?

IMG_7502.jpg - 713x1000, 102.34K

They played that on public TV channel while I was in prison and the life sentence guys were all in the dayroom watching it like it was a porno. Laser focused

Getting Patrick McGoohan to play the prison warden was a stroke of genius.

No, but Friedkin was undeniably a genius, Exorcist was a real mind blower when I saw it as a kid, he did an iconic gay movie before he got famous, worth checking out

I just like it because it’s pro-white and shows whites are the toughest sons of bitches than roam the earth. Actually think the plot is pretty generic and the ending is weird. Should have just kept them as normal Indians and not some fictional monsters.

I always post only this though when these threads get made just because of the white aspect.

this one's pretty Anon Babble-tier
it has nazis and a chubby fairy with huge tits

Yea he was a convincing dickhead

I've seen it a couple times, parts were really intense. Definitely worth watching.

One of the most insane movies of all time. Really fucks you up.

in a good way? been tempted but never watched it, would rather watch stuff like Master and Commander or Lucy

I watch this around every halloween. It would be a 10 if Keanu could have done a better English accent (awful)

You have to watch this

IMG_3511.jpg - 800x1200, 185.1K

What if Rob Zombie directed a cowboy western

dood

Different kind of movie. It's about the character foremost. Escape from Alcatraz is about the thing the characters are doing. Clint Eastwood's character is a cipher. I prefer the escape movie

What happens when a cruise ship is turned over by a tidal wave? How do you get out? Gene Hackman.

IMG_3512.jpg - 900x1200, 209.04K

I just rewatched it and I honestly can’t see a reason why it’s not one of the top 3 greatest movies.

I really liked him in The Swimmer
An unusual role for him, a formerly successful businessman making his way across suburbia following a path laid out by his friends' swimming pools, but absolutely perfect casting in my opinion.

Both are good, but the french version is superior I believe. It's quite long but has an intense pace. The first forty minutes are introducing the characters and their lives in the south american shithole town they are stuck in, but it doesn't drag at all. Then the plot with the truck driving begins.

Wonka is the most anti-jeet movie in history

white master

jeet slaves

jeets worship "chocolate" which is shit

jeets like to dance and sing

What am dis movie?

Bro the oompas were not jeets in the original they were midgets with orange faces.

'Sorcerer' (1977)

its a remake of a French 1953 film Wages of Fear

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wages_of_Fear
This
by Henri-Georges Clouzot

Fun fact/spoiler: in Speilberg's 1971 film 'Duel' (probably the best thing he ever did), a closing shot is an explicit tribute to Clouzot's 1953 masterpiece

french version

and see my post ^

Yes.

Wake in fright.

The French one has to be in black and white and retards speaking French. I don’t do black and white or subtitles. Combining both sounds like a migraine.

They're still jeets. Wonka even pays them in shit.

checked, yes quite good for a feature film based on a short story. Frank Perry is an under-recognized director worth seeking out his works

pretty rare, Ford vs Ferrari was the last 100% white film I saw and I kept waiting for the token POC to appear but one never did

Jean Luc Godard's memory deserves to be honored

Sort of Cliche to say but def true. They were made well. The books are way more in detail though and different.

Well I’d expect that from a Pikey.

The trailer for Grey State

IMG_8379.gif - 521x224, 3.11M

Based mongoloid.

Based obscure classic movie enjoyer.

He’s lithuanian but yea i kinda see it. I guess the geographic location checks out.

MORRIE'S WIGS DON'T COME OFF

I thought he’d never shut the fuck up

The fixation on height on here is really fucking gay.

So stop fixating.

So a Jew is more based and in better physical shape than most goyim? Interesting.

The first two acts of this film are spectacular. Them together are probably one of the most sheer entertaining, dumb grinning and pure cinema I have ever fucking seen. I will admit though, the third act, while still good, was a bit of a let down.

But how do I know when I'm watching a really good fucking movie?

When I have a fucking big grin on my face without even realizing it, and my eyes are lit up with absolute fucking kino.

Only do you realize later the first 45 minutes of the movie (wedding/hunt) is absolutely crucial in setting up your investment in the two or three main characters. The way it snaps immediately to Vietnam and atrocities seconds after the sad piano song was all on purpose to show you how fucked the contrast between war and peace really is. Great movie. John Cazale was tremendous.

Mashallah.

Good take, will rewatch and get back to you.

It's the Prisoner. An english tv show (one year series.) Very good.

Who is #1????

You are, #2.

Zesty

Who would have thought he'd go on to voice a fictional cosplay underwater superhero in a children's cartoon kek

>Who is #1????

>You are, #2.

Actually, I think the dialog went...

Who is # !!!???

You are, #9.

This. Also Heat. Anything Michael Mann.

Yes, as an American, it shows you what america promises to you in the first half and what america usually delivers to you in the second. (Probably not just America)

gay af. fuck defoe. pedo with deniro.

Thief was fucking great and should have done better. You seem an almost identical theme between both films. They both ditch the hole for honor.

It also shows how fucking ludicrous it was to give up a beautiful albeit run-down high trust Pennsylvanian steel town community for a bamboo rat infested cage for the MIC.

lucy was lame
this whole fake notion the brain is mostly idle

just music, our world, and the people in it. it’s different

He actually is. Yes. His demeanor when he comes back is not slightly cheaky or insulting in any way. The thing can imitate the physical but it can’t imitate the mentality. You’ll notice throughout the film that those who have been taken are all stone faced with no personality. Some even suggest the scotch bottle mcready hands him at the end is actually gasoline.

was/is very good. certainly kino.

He’s not Jewish. He also doesn’t look pure Lithuanian. He did change is name to sound more American though. My Lithuanian grandfather did the same thing. Many people did back in those days.

I don’t do black and white or subtitles.

Very kino indeed.

our world 1975-1981

Subtitles are for peasants. The best movies have always and will always be American. A close second will Guy Pierce movies. People who don’t speak English are irrelevant. You watch a movie to watch people; not to read. If I wanted to read dialogue I’d read a book.

Fifty years old and enjoys an unbroken streak of becoming more relevant every year.

Many people think the ‘sky’ is automatic Jew.

Leftist movie

Good

Sam Neill plays a psycho super well

And even better, he's not a psycho to begin with, he's a normal guy and effectively the protagonist, until he falls to Chaos

this movie was absolute trash

3/10 ragebait

weird that it inspires poltards to seethe so much. It was a decent conventional attempt at Matrix-lite scifi, some great action and ScarJo, I dont get it, poltards hate because the lead is a femoid? Or because black science guy stereotype is such a stereotype? Or because asian bad guy stereotype is such a stereotype?

One of the best low budget movies i've ever watched.

Simple and yet thought povoking

yes, was going to post this, first half is pretty cool, last half borders on unwatchable, but the plot twist is good

all my friends watch absolute garbage
all my colleagues watch absolute garbage
1 or 2 "movie lovers" tell me to use kinopoisk, a russian knockoff of rottentomatoes. Kinopoisk's rating system is unholy garbage.
More than 75% gladly gobble up all and any new DEI TV shows like it's the new normal.
At least they like old soviet movies which had SOUL and were funny and high quality. But maybe only because their parents made them watch it.
I am disappointed in my people. Greatly.
Don't get me started on books

leftist movie

care to explain why you think that?

iktf

I've been told that cube / doublecube / hypercube are all shit
Rottentomatoes agrees.

Hellboy 2

It was the Barry Manilow part that made me hate it.

i've been told they're shit

they are, only cube isn't.
The concept is nice and you have to remember it's low budget, the other 2 are just dickriding the success of cube.

I am disappointed in my people.

I'd say that's how most anons feel about their people.
Most people are pretty disappointing.
I have seen any of Tarkovsky's films. Your post reminded me to download Solaris and Stalker

donnie announces that he wants to reopen alcatraz only a few hours after Escape From Alcatraz happened to be played on PBS in south florida

this is like the 5th time that a similar "coincidence" has happened

The problem with Death Wish is that Charles Bronson already seems like a stone cold killer, rather than a mild mannered architect driven to vigilantism after his family is attacked.
Maybe Dustin Hoffman would have been better if they reworked the script for a younger man

1974 Dark Star

Great movie
Same writer as Alien btw

my man purse was made by our native brethren that thirst for freedom and gay liberty

honestly fuck mel gibson

I think Once Upon a Time in America is the greatest film ever made

5 hour movie about Jews

idc. if Sergio Leone never died and made his WW2 movie that (at the time) had the highest budget ever, he likely would’ve topped himself again. his scale always just got bigger and bigger

IMG_3201.jpg - 1020x576, 147.11K

Yea i think escape movies like the OG on i posted, Escape From Alcatraz, theres something instinctively frightening about being trapped and having to escape to a tiny hole etc. nightmarish regardless of the acting or special effects.

The problem with Death Wish is that Charles Bronson already seems like a stone cold killer, rather than a mild mannered architect driven to vigilantism after his family is attacked.

Maybe Dustin Hoffman would have been better if they reworked the script for a younger man

good point, the scene where he gets the gun lesson really holds up, 'we dont have gun problem, we have a ... problem'

Looked in my notes about Tarkovsky
It says Stalker 1979 is superb, and Solaris 1972 is "overextended boring soviet shit" xD
I've read solaris though, so i'm biased.
