No, sorry, but the events of the New Testament are not accurate. First, it must be noted that the earliest written books of the New Testament are the epistles of Paul. Next in chronological composition is Acts, which is a totally insane book that describes shit that obviously never happened, like an angel rescuing Peter from prison. Next came more epistles, then some of the Gospels (Mark and its more-Jewy remix, Matthew), then another Gospel (the magical pagan version of Mark, Luke) and the appeal to Neoplatonists version, John; which gets the sequence of events wrong.
The gospels were not in-the-moment journals. They were stories invented 60 to 120 years after the events supposedly happened. Instead of reading the NT, you should be studying the history of Jews when the NT was after the failed Bar Kokhba Revolt. The Jews failed so hard, that they started creating a new religion for themselves in order to push for a new strategy against the Romans, by claiming that they killed the Jewish messiah. The Jews could therefore cope with the loss of their revolt better by claiming it was because the messiah was already killed, and so the Jews never again engaged in direct combat for land. Instead they became Christians. Once Christianity took hold of Europe, the Jews were free to be Jews all over the continent, just see the Edict of Thessalonica.

For example, when Jesus has a fight with the Pharisees on whether you are allowed to heal people on the sabbath, Hillelites would have actually agreed with him. This is one of the enduring mysteries of the Gospels: why does it paint the Pharisees as Jesus' evil opponents when half of them should have agreed with him?

There is no indication that Tacitus found any information in Jesus in Roman archives or that he bothered to look for it in the first place. Really, the only non-Christian book where we should expect to find reliable first-hand information in Jesus is The Wars of the Jews by Josephus, AS it is written very close to the purported events (75 aD) and deals with the same topic (religious upheaval in Judea) by someone who lived there. Unfortunately, Jesus or christianity aren't even mentioned once in Wars of the Jews.
