If there was some omnipotent god that wanted to be worshipped then there would have just been some kind of accessible and undeniable means of knowing him and his will all over the planet for all of history. You wouldn't have hundreds of thousands of different religions teaching wildly contradictory things, with entire generations of children being brainwashed from birth with these religions and not knowing anything different for their entire lives. Literally every single detail of human history disproves this specific god concept repeatedly.
How do people seriously think Abrahamic religions are true?
Yes but people are retarded
both believing in this and also their refusal to do socially beneficial things without believing in this
so its like a double whammy of retardation - you need to put the retards on the retard plantation or else they destroy everything
The worst one is Russian Orthodox. That's what convinced me that all the Abrahamic religions are bogus.
You wouldn't have hundreds of thousands of different religions teaching wildly contradictory things
Why not?
read first 50 pages of mere Christianity
find answer to this question in plain English easily understandable by any literate with an IQ above 60
unfortunately OP meets neither of these requirements so he continues to struggle.
sad
I don't see how any grown adult can read a religious text and not burst out laughing. If you need to be told what to believe you do not have a relationship with God.
s teaching wildly contradictory things,
Because there's more than one God.
people use different number systems
ergo math can't possibly be real
op can't conceive of the fact that when people who've never had any contact with each other at all come to similar conclusions to a question it makes it more likely, not less, that there is a real world basis for them.
would have just been some kind of accessible and undeniable means of knowing him and his will all over the planet for all of history.
There literally is. If you can't do it then it just means you aren't part of Christ's elect.
You don't need type so much just to say you're mad you had to go to church as a kid.
You cannot use anything from Christianity to prove Christianity, because it is not empirical and evidence based in nature.
He’s talking about proof that would be obvious to a person who actively does not want to believe in god. Something that would FORCE them to accept Christianity was factually true, even if they fervently do not want to.
pope
abrahamic
the roman pagan church is babylonian
Shut the fuck up, bitch.
Pic related. When Jesus was on earth, he performed miracles in front of the Jews and Pharisees and they still resisted him. When Jesus brought Lazarus back to life the Pharisees even planned on killing Lazarus to cover the resurrection up.
When Jehovah brought the 10 plagues on Egypt Pharaoh still opposed him to the death.
Satan is a former angel created by Jehovah. For eons, he spoke to God face to face and yet still rebelled and opposed him.
What do these examples teach us? That it's not about seeing, it's not about believing, it's about a person's inner attitude. It's about the condition of the heart. That's why God doesn't have to reveal himself fully because he knows a lot of people will have the attitude of those up above.
The other reason why is because humans challenged God's sovereignty 6K years ago. They need to be forced to put their money where their mouth is and prove they don't need no God. If God revealed himself they wouldn't go through with the challenge.
All that matters is that over 90% of atheists support homosexuality and vote identically to jews
you can use science to prove science
lol ok. Anyways, metaphysics and philosophy is a thing and you can absolutely use logic to prove a thing. In fact it's the only way to truly prove a thing.
but the book has Christianity in the name ergo it can't discuss anything from a position of logic
Sub 60 IQ take, and a low effort one at that. I shan't be addressing you further.
That's can't* obviously
That's retarded. Why would God want people to have no choice?
By allowing people to follow Him then He ensures the wheat is separated from the chaff. God doesn't want mindless zombies. He wants people who actually love Him.
Metaphysics and philosophy are things insofar as they are human inventions, but we have absolutely zero concrete evidence that they would exist if human brains/minds did not exist.
It's an apparent scam. The god is actually homo sapiens with a sock puppet on his hand.
Why would an omnipotent god create a situation where he would need to separate the wheat from the chaff? You’re essentially saying that god creates the situation of suffering by allowing for the possibility of people not believing in him, and if that is the case he is not worth worshiping in the first place.
"because the bible said so"
christgolems have always served jews.
Tacitus, Histories, Book 5
For the worst rascals among other peoples, renouncing their ancestral religions, always kept sending tribute and contributions to Jerusalem, thereby increasing the wealth of the jews
Before going to the ethnicities/goyim (ἔθνη), saul was told by james, cephas, and john to remember the poor which he was eager to do.
Galatians 2:9-10
And recognizing the grace that I had been given, James, Cephas, and John—those reputed to be pillars—gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, so that we should go to the ethnicities/goyim (ἔθνη), and they to the circumcision (jews). They only asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.
What does "remember the poor" actually mean? And why was saul eager to "remember the poor"?
Romans 15:25-27
But now I am going to Jerusalem, ministering to the saints. For Macedonia and Achaia were pleased to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.
For they were pleased, and they are debtors of them. For if the ethnicities/goyim (ἔθνη) have shared in their spiritual things, they ought also to minister to them in the material things.
1 Corinthians 16:1-4
Now about the collection for the saints, you are to do as I directed the churches of Galatia: On the first day of every week, each of you should set aside a portion of his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will be needed. Then, on my arrival, I will send letters with those you recommend to carry your gift to Jerusalem. And if it is advisable for me to go also, they can travel with me.

Why would an omnipotent god create a situation where he would need to separate the wheat from the chaff?
Spiritual testing, refinement, moral development.
Why does a blacksmith need to heat the steel before hammering it? Why does he need to quench it in oil?
There are divine processes that must take place.
I do not personally consider those to be valid reasons for allowing the condition of human suffering to continue if he had the ability to end it, and would hold god as my enemy even if I new for a fact that he existed.
Also, the existence of a ‘divine plan’ is a massive and unprovable supposition
He does have the ability to end it and will. Right now isn't the time, many things must come to pass.
God doesn't work on your schedule.
there would have just been some kind of accessible and undeniable means of knowing him
Like Jesus?
The king of the jews?
Jesus teaches to pay your taxes that’s the only reason it is still pushed so hard
John 18:36 (Jesus after being asked if He is king of the jews)
Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
There's no inherent difference between what you're describing and what it would look like if nothing in the religion were true and it was all just coping and retardation
that's the crux of the problem - and consistently, when asked to provide some kind of evidence or proof, all you are able to actually provide is more cope (because you know, as does everyone else, that ACTUAL proof doesn't exist so you must rationalize and argue that ACTUAL proof isn't necessary and your religion is still true without it)
Why not a God beaming his voice into everyone's heads at once? That by itself would convert billions of people to a faith and strengthen the core tenets of that religion as everyone will acknowledge that at least some kind of supreme being manifestly endorses this religion in particular, and thus we should all be following its social mores, structure, and leadership
but that never happens, instead what we have looks remarkably similar, in fact identical, to religions that are purely human constructs with no divine or metaphysical elements to them whatsoever
In fact the closest thing we have to actual "divinity" is natural evolution and dynamically emergent systems which are nothing like a stereotypical depiction of a god, but more like thoughtless formless processes fed and enforced by various feedback loops. The force of gravity is a more observable "god" than any abrahamic depiction of god is. Frankly, the pagans got it more right than the christians et al did just by anthropomorphizing natural and emergent systems like social trickery or violent storms as gods.
Humiliation ritual
He’s saying bend over and let Jews rape you in this world stupid goy you will be rewarded in the next fingers crossed. Nigger worshipping right winger trash kys total Christian death now
At that point he might as well just have judgement day. You're literally asking for a period of choice to have the choice removed and replaced with absolute certainty, which is self defeating. And that's not to say that 2000 years from now people won't just outright refuse to believe it even happened since the Bible tells us that exact thing happened and yet you refuse to believe it now.
He’s saying bend over and let J- ACK
I'm trans btw
See:
why would you have "a period of choice" to begin with? In what functional way does any of this even help humanity to have the existence of divinity be ambiguous to the point that no rational person can tell the difference between signs, miracles, and omens vs pure random luck
Again all of this just looks like cope
You want to believe its true, despite the lack of actual evidence (as you outright admit), because the ambiguity is intentional - it's supposed to be impossible to tell if your god is real because - what? Because he just likes not being believed? Because if you knew for sure he was real then you couldn't decide to disbelieve in him (but... you could...)?
It all just looks like the kind of cope 13 year old kids would come up with if you don't believe in their imaginary friend.
Meanwhile nobody needs to cope about whether electricity is real. You can directly observe electricity. Humans developed and creating an entire society around how electricity functions, and it observably impacts our society in a very beneficial way. Far moreso than any abrahamic god has ever done for humanity. Electricity is more of an actual god than the christian god is. Electricity is more real, more impactful, and more beneficial than a christian god has ever been; and it is simply a natural force, a system of our universe and the way it works.
Why ascribe divinity to jesus and develop unobservable constructs like heaven and hell, when you have entirely observable gods sitting right in front of you?
I would honestly argue christians (and other religions that ignore these inherent natural systems or even fight against them) are the real atheists.
why would creatures specifically given free will be given choices to use that free will on
gee, I can see how this is tricky for you, if you're a retard.
bunch of coping about how it's all coping
Sure, ok. You definitely make an argument fit for a man? of your apparent IQ
Can you describe how your christian god has benefit humanity more than the development of mathematics or the harnessing of electricity?
Do you have any rational foundation for your belief that isn't predicated on "If I don't believe this I will be eternally tortured for not believing it"?
Again when you examine the lack of genuine impact religions have, and the way they corral people - it looks no different from something a 13 year old would tell you; "Ah yes well, if you don't believe my imaginary friend exists, then after you die, he will stab your soul FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER"
It's fucking astonishing (and hilarious) to me that this actually works on people, and that these people furthermore call everyone who doesn't believe this will happen to be "retarded".
The fact that religion has become a "test of belief" is very telling.
All of life is a game to trick yourself into believing something, and btw don't think too much about anything.
t. butthurt troon
Religion solves a lot of game-theory calcs. Like why would people behave in a way that benefits the greater whole at the expense of themselves?
A great example would be a shield-wall formation under cavalry attack. If 1 man breaks formation and flees, he will surely live, while the remainder will likely be killed. This gives the others a strong incentive to flee as well. But if they stand strong against the enemy, several will die, however their survival rate will be higher overall. And at the end of the day, they will actually accomplish something real and important in the world.
What keeps them bound up together? Why do they risk death to keep the formation together? Some even sacrificing their own lives for the cause?
They need to believe in something, and they need to put their own individualism aside, and together they can accomplish great things. They need to believe in something.
I'm not calling you retarded for not believing, but for demonstrating through your questions and presuppositions that you are, indeed, of a low intellect.
why doesn’t God behave exactly the way I want him to?
Probably because you are retarded, and God is smart enough to create retards out of nothing.
Be sure to write all your complaints down so you don’t forget them when God asks you to explain yourself
Yes, religion is a useful social construct for situations like that - in fact I think we ought to expand religious practices to embrace and enhance good human traits, and blunt negative traits. Ritualization and other social constructs effectively work like a short-circuit around slower evolutionary processes, with intelligent men seeing where maladaptive social behaviour must be curbed for the net benefit of society.
And this fundamentally breaks down if your line infantry disbelieve the social constructs.
So I can see the usefulness and utility here, but there is so much room for improvement it's like I'm looking at a crown in the gutter when I see "modern" religions like christianity ineptly trying to herd people into good behaviours. Christians don't even understand what good behaviours are, and amoral and malicious people are twisting religious beliefs for negative, rather than beneficial effects.
Just look at how suicidal and self destructive christianity is towards White people now.
And you can see that someone else clearly came to the same realization vis a vis religion, and has been trying to socially engineer their own newer version of it - social justice, liberalism, egalitarianism, wokeism, et al. Transfected into christianity even, but the problem there is that they created a religion that enhanced maladaptive social traits instead of beneficial ones. It's like someone crafted a religion to be evil instead of good (and it's clear to see why/how - they want control over the "the line infantry", it's useful power but selfish and directed as a net negative for society)
What we need is some kind of religious synthesis that combined the truly innate and unquestionable aspects of our universe while using that to direct and shape the social behaviours of humans in a beneficial way. We need to use religion to guide our evolution intelligently, and that isn't what's being done right now.
I hate Jews SOOOOO much
that’s why we should ignore Jews and kill all Christians instead
Orthodogs should be exterminated, cancerous heretic entity.
God could come down to earth and show off his powers and wisdom, and people like yourself still wouldn't believe. How do I know this? Because it already happened.
Christians literally are the reason jews are allowed to live, the reason why our country arms them
In terms of Rational it's a dumb pyramid scheme. In terms of life, I think our One God exists, but you can choose the facet of life that fits you. Indians are probably the most pragmatic - you choose the god/dess of your tribe knowing full well it's still Shiva; or for the Atheists you become a Buddhist and cleanse yourself from illusion. Each path fits a different man, but it got steps, unlike Monotheists who keep you in the dark for greed unless you "qualify".
Yeah it's called the Bible, the most widespread book of all time
Empirical epistemology only applies to material reality
Hadrian wasn’t Christian
Brainwashing from youth.
shut the fuck up, kike
Hadrian tried to save Europe. Constantine condemned it.
a useful social construct for situations like that
Religious populations are very bonded-together and very powerful politically. Imagine thousands of people willing to sacrifice their own lives for the greater whole, and imagine the entire society willing to obey social rules that might even seem illogical.
It's such a powerful social organizing strategy that it's become genetically inscribed. You cannot remove religion from people, it's part of them. The left tried, and they just created new religious movements. The people censoring lewd women in your videogames are not religious, but they are the exact same people covering up women 200 years ago in the church. The same people, with the same mentality.
There's also the fact that god, in the abstract at least, is likely real. The chances that his world was created by someone for some purpose is extremely great. This could indeed just be a simulation.
And ok, let's say the universe was created naturalistically. Certainly godlike beings would evolve in short order, in such a vast universe. Our world is likely the domain of such a being.
What we need is some kind of religious synthesis that combined the truly innate and unquestionable aspects of our universe while using that to direct and shape the social behaviours
I really like Platonism on the intellectual side of things. The beliefs are unfalsifiable, and you can debate them for hours. Also the religion in a lot of ways is a metaphor for science, and Plato's writings helped give rise to science itself.
However, that's on the intellectual side. However Platonism is very dry and intellectual. On the actual human side, motivating and inspiring people, the nordic pantheon seems to be way more effective. These are all native-born European religions that are part of our heritage.
God made himself known as Jesus Christ. He does not make Himself known in a more direct sense for reasons unknown to us humans.
as opposed to you who was brainwashed with kike leftist tranny propaganda. Sucks to suck, faggot
Jew
Counter argument: people filled with murderous rage at Jews that instead direct it towards Christians are the reason Jews exist.
If they targeted their murderous rage at Jews towards Jews, they would kill them.
Let me present your argument again in a different form:
women are ruining society
white men gave women rights
therefore kill all white men
See the problem here? Or does that sound just fine to (((you)))?
Hadrian intentionally let them survive
Constantine unified and solidified evrope
it happened bcoz muh talking-snake book says so
*godtards*
God manifested himself in human form to preach His word to humanity. Why he didn't just directly communicate with us is something we don't fully understand, but the commonly accepted theory is God wanted to live the human experience in its entirety in order to communicate with humans, pain and anguish and all. So therefore He is fully human in that regard, but also God.
Why do Mutts has already started claiming that Leo XIV is "the first black pope"? Are we about to enter the age of "we wuz popez n' shiet"?
Science looks like magic to people who don't understand it. Religion looks like magic to people who don't understand it.
Do you believe that Asclepius resurrected people? Do you believe in the resurrection of Osiris, Dionysus?
When Muslims outnumber Christians, will Allah then magically become the one true god?
son of french and italian parents
had to come here before hearing anything as retarded as le nigger pope
no
Personally I don't mind faithful Christians but they're a rare lot and Christians really do have to answer for never ever eliminating their enemies.
Can we march against the ewige juden together?
Bible-boy seems to think it's a popularity contest
Not that his skin color should matter even a tiny bit. Even if it did, he ain't black. Light skin, son of white people, but racially obsessed Mutts will be making quantum mechanics outta this and believe in schizo babbling, like this one youtu.be
I dont hate christians. I dont hate their religion except for the jewish aspects.
You worship jews and books by jews because you're a jew at heart. You don't belong on this board, golem.
The European and descended people have forgotten who they are. They are the Adamic race (descendants of Adam).
Modern “bankers” are descended from Edomites, and are larping as Israelites. It's the biggest case of stolen identity ever.
100 PROOFS the Israelites were WHITE
youtube.com
To quote another based anon here, "The Bible is the most antisemitic, hard-core redpill against the "jews" ever written. Whites are the true Biblical Israelites. The Edomites, (part from Esau, part fallen angel races) stole our identity as the true chosen people."
The Israelites back then were Adamite Whites (the good guys). The bad guys came about by: Eve has a son by a non-White father (a branch on the tree of knowledge of good and evil) -> Cain -> Cain+Nephilim (offspring of fallen angels, non-Whites) -> Kennites -> Cannanites + Esau (Jacob's brother, race-mixed with bad-seed races) -> Edomites (Idumeans, posing as Israelite tribe of Judah) -> Pharisees (full-on evil seed, they kill Christ) -> today's “globalist tribe of bankers” (same bad guys).
Hadrian killed nearly all of them and destroyed their civilization.
Constantine immediately passed laws granting jews the right to build synagogues and run Roman cities while passing laws against native Whites. He is, and was, and shall forever be, a traitor. May his name be spat upon.
back then they weren't seen as some great civilizational evil though. They were just another group.
How can something be true if people think different things
A true philosopher
Thats actually a valid question for philosphers.

What was his problem?
Stfu sukdeep. Go back to India.
Christ is King God Creator of Earth. He said so Himself.
Philosophical cucks love that kind of "problems".
One god would be very, very busy. He wouldn't have time to make sure you're worshipping him the right way.
What was his problem?
He didn't pick up asses he wanted to fuck carefully enough, despite his position. At least he apparently believed in God, unlike Leo X.
I love that catholicism is supposed to mean "universal" but whenever catholics have to explain their cuck pope their like "YOU CAN NEVER UNDERSTAND US CATHOLICS WE BELIEVE HE WAS CHOSEN BY GOD SO LEAVE US ALONE OK?!"
Literally not our position whatsoever
You're seething at a fictional version of Catholicism that only exists in your head
You're welcome to your personal feelings and opinions
It’s kind of irrelevant. If it came right down to it and the final assault on Israel was being waged, if we were to find ourselves rebuffed by the defense of hoards of pajeets, would we stop what we are doing and go destroy India first?
No, that’s stupid. He, like any other with the same sentiment, are just sweaty fuckingkikes desperately trying to make you hate ANY group more than them.
See this in action, next time you see an anon going on
wow I hate Jews so fucking much we need to kill all the Christians.
Just ask him what his problem would be with Christians if all the Jews disappeared forever right now.
He won’t answer. Their only complaint about Christians is “Jews”
So just kill the fucking Jews and be done with it
Is the reasonable response, but instead of killing a handful of Jews that are actually causing the problems, they would prefer you kill 80% of whites before you even THINK about addressing the JQ.
It’s patently stupid, and so is anyone who can’t see through it.
Ok, now justify why killing all Christian’s takes precedent over killing Jews if the only problem with Christians is Jews.
>you can’t
Then shut the fuck up.
*tips fedora*
Material reality is all there is. By that I mean, much like how energy and matter are the same thing, the spiritual and physical are also the same thing.
yes, christians are morons. its astonishing and makes no sense. truly, endlessly baffling.
That’s the thing though, absolute certainty is the only thing that matters in this case. I simply will not believe in a religion unless I know for a fact that it is true.
The social utility of religion isn’t in question, but just whether or not it is factually True. We should not believe in or support things, no matter how useful, unless they are TRUE
One argument platonists used to use:
Nobody can draw a perfect circle. It's impossible. Even with machinery you will never get it perfectly. Furthermore, you will always be seeing it from off angles and it will never be a perfect circle in your eyes. Despite that, everyone knows what a perfect circle is. They just know, somehow, intuitively.
This is explained by the fact that another world exists, in which there are perfect shapes, perfect concepts, perfect ideas, which manifest themselves in our world. The idea of conquest, the idea of a square, the idea of a stern teacher. Whatever it is. This is the metaphysical plane, a world beside but entwined with our own, and our reality is an illusion where these concepts platform themselves.
This actually gives explanation to science. The process of science itself is to assume that behind a given physical phenomenon there is a "law", or "rule". Scientists will assume this is true, and then do their best to measure/explain it. It's literally platonism.
The fact is that our world is a sphere, just as the platonists said it was.
It's a great filter. If you believe in religion, I know you're a retard.
Must be 18 to post here, go to confession
there would have just been some kind of accessible and undeniable means of knowing him and his will
He literally came to Earth in physical form of his son, Jesus Christ and went around performing miracles and fulfilling prophecy to prove who he was, and spreading the message he wanted people to hear. To make it even more undeniable, he allowed himself to be brutally murdered, died, and then CAME BACK TO LIFE. He then spent the next 40 days going around visiting his followers with the resurrected Jesus being witnessed by hundreds of people before finally ascending into heaven for good.
And since then, there have been numerous miracles that have happened, and every true believer can feel the Holy Spirit in their heart.
Many of his followers and witnesses to these events were so sure of the veracity of all of this that they were willing to undergo brutal torture and die as martyrs rather than renounce their faith.
It was so undeniable that his following exploded in popularity to become the most widely followed religion in the world.
The reality is that it doesn't matter how much evidence their is, or how strong it is. You have already chosen to not believe any of it.
Jesus himself could appear before you right now and tell you that yes it is all true and he is real and that you should listen to that Anon online. But even that wouldn't be enough, you would just insist that there was some other explanation, some kind of illusion or hallucination or project blue beans.
You cannot use anything from Christianity to prove Christianity
The book that other anon cites, Mere Christianity by CS Lewis is specifically Lewis making moral, logical, and rational arguments for Christianity rather than relying on Biblical sources.
Aristotle argued that there must be a creator God, and only one God, and he obviously made this argument well before Jesus was born and without relying on anything in the Bible.
Many other philosophers and theologians like Augustine, Aquinas, and Lewis have made arguments in favor of Christian theology without relying on Christian doctrine or the Bible.
I never said kill christians thoughbeit
Aristotle
Since when does being a deist make you a christcuck?
Something that would FORCE them to accept Christianity was factually true, even if they fervently do not want to.
God could do this, he is God he is literally capable of doing anything. But if he did then you would bitch about not having free will.
God "is" truth
To know truth is to know God
Hadrian is supplying billions of dollars and weapons to jews?
Kikes are Babylonian devil worshipers who:
1) Lie about being Semites.
2) Lie about being Jews.
3) are worse "dindu nuthin'" than niggers.
They are not Abrahamic, they rejected the torah for the Babylonian talmud. e.g. instead of a sacrifice of something they value to attone for their sins, they "fool god" by blaming a chicken for their sins and torturing the chicken.
Moslems... pagan moon god. They wanted kike converts because the kikes were rich, so they pretended to be Abrahamics and not pagans.
Kikes just laughed
Christians: Aren't any so why bother? Christian faith was poisoned 200 years ago and hit dirt 100 years ago. Now the "Pope" advocates the genocide of the white people and the kike's globalist agenda. who owns the vatican? The Rothschild bloodlines. All Popes from Pius XII on read from the kike's script.
Why would an omnipotent god create a situation where he would need to separate the wheat from the chaff?
Literally the first story in the Bible explains this.
God created the first humans without sin or suffering and placed them in a perfect paradise. They almost immediate chose to defy him and break the only rule he told them to follow.
God created humans from dirt but in his image, blessing us with our conscious minds and free will.
We have the innate power to choose to not sin and not do evil things, and instead choose to do the right things and live a good righteous life instead. And until we choose to be like that, none of us are worthy of perfect experience free from all suffering.
Based. When I was a baby my dad left sharp knives near my crib. I had the free will not to stab myself.
The Shroud of Turin is big.
newer studies using new dating techniques disproves the 1980s carbon dating studies (they had a bad sample for their study originally)
Pollen fossil samples show pollen in the knee area was from pollen only found in the region of Judea
piecing on the side is shown on the Shroud of Turin, matches descriptions of how Jesus was crucified
the face cloth of Oviedo / Sudarium Christi (face cloth of Jesus) matches the face and cuts found on the Shroud of Turin
unusual crucifixion because the the Shroud of Turin and the face cloth both show wounds from the crown of thorns
ultra violet light image burned into the burial cloth, does not happen with other bodies, but it happened to the burial cloth belonging to the person who claimed to be the Son of God
blood type from the Shroud of Turin matches the blood type of the Eucharistic miracles (AB+) that have been approved by the Church in the past, even the Eucharistic miracle overseen by the Pope Francis back in the 90s.
There's much more too.
Most know about the Shroud of Turin, but not many know about the face cloth, both of which are mentioned in the Bible mind you.
The second cloth that was placed over the head held by a Church that has matching cut wounds that match where the marks would be on the Shroud of Turin, like a key authenticator. That head burial cloth was said to belong to Christ as well.
Interesting to note that the ultra violet light image on the Shroud of Turin would've been technologically impossible to forge by the way. It's burned on a non-photo sensitive cloth, but the image is burned onto the very surface of the fibrals and doesn't penetrate deep into the cloth. There's no other image like this.
And again, it belongs to the one who said He was the Son of God.

Even if you are an atheist then surely it's easy to accept that not everyone is being brainwashed and maybe faith is actually beneficial in helping people to understand things that science can't explain or in providing moral teachings, you are likely to have embraced many of Christ's moral teachings as well.
There is also no specific concept of God. Not everyone thinks God is some bearded man in the sky and many interpret God in their own ways.
There's no inherent difference between what you're describing and what it would look like if nothing in the religion were true and it was all just coping and retardation
So why does our universe exist? What created it?
Science's answer is that everything suddenly exploded out of a singularity, including time and space itself so you aren't allowed to ask questions about what was happening before that or where this took place or why it happened.
But clearly there had to be Something to cause this. Something that existed entirely outside of time and space and our universe, and uncreated Creator. How does this Something not fit at least the most basic definition of a god?
And once you accept the existence of a god outside of everything, then it's just arguing over details.
Why not a God beaming his voice into everyone's heads at once?
Because he isn't just a narcissist whose primary goal is to have as many worshippers as possible.
Imagine being an all powerful god who can do anything. He *could* create a perfect universe full of blind worshippers forced to worship him where nothing bad ever happens, but what would even be the point? It would be lame and boring and meaningless.
What he wants is to see his creation choose to become good like him, striving to overcome the obstacles they face so that eventually they can join him.

Do you not realize that almost all of the people behind those things and almost every other technological or general human development in the last 2000 years believed in God and was studying these subjects primarily because they believed that they would better understand God if they understood the nature of the universe he had created.
This idea that the Christian church does or has in the past opposed science is not accurate at all. Almost all western science until fairly recently was done by Christians, frequently working directly on behalf of the church.
And it's no coincidence that when science in general divorced itself from Christianity by embracing (on faith) a core presupposition that there was no God or anything spiritual or supernatural, that it went insane and stopped making sense and started spewing out incomprehensible schizobabble explanations for things.
It doesn’t need that form of explanation. A more simple explanation is that humans are just capable of imagining things which only exist theoretically in our minds. We do not need to invent some metaphysical plane to explain why humans can imagine a perfect circle. The fact that the idea of a perfect circle exists physically as electrical signals bouncing between the neurons in our brains is enough.
The process of science itself is to assume that behind a given physical phenomenon there is a "law", or "rule".
This isn’t necessarily correct, because the term law or rule in a scientific sense is different from those terms used in a legal or religious sense, in which cases some form of meaning is applied to them. In the scientific sense, law or rule simply means regularity or pattern.
Because he isn't just a narcissist whose primary goal is to have as many worshippers as possible.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
He *could* create a perfect universe full of blind worshippers forced to worship him where nothing bad ever happens, but what would even be the point? It would be lame and boring and meaningless.
So non-believers go to a place where eternal bad occurs?
If God was real he would infinitely better than us in every way, how would he be able to create a relationship with us?
Even a minor mistake on our part would be an extreme transgression when put next to a perfect being, it would be a shaky relationship.
I think there would be conflict, and we would be in the wrong, maybe it's better he leaves us alone.
If God was real hopefully he would come down here and live a life as a regular Joe, understand what it's like, help his fallen creation and we can only hope perhaps forgive us for our shortcomings.
Perhaps he could mend the relationship, if only there was some way. It would be in the hands of God, since we are just limited beings, but to imagine a God that tolerates us, maybe even willing to suffer for us? One can only hope.
social justice, liberalism, egalitarianism, wokeism, et al.
Those things, along with the White-hating judeo-globohomo religion that LARPs as Christianity that you try to conflate with actual Christianity, are essentially heretical perversions of Christianity.
They take things like Christian charity or virtue or morality and completely remove God and all of the actually Christianity from it. Instead of worshipping the Christian God, they are religions based on worshipping things like weakness and victimhood.
These things are NOT Christianity. At most, they are extremely heretical and subversive perversions of Christianity.
It's like arguing that Christianity is bad because the Church of Satan is bad, and the Church of Satan is christianity because the devil is mentioned in the Christian Bible.
Yeah let me grab it
carbon dating
Christians are the ones claiming the ones claiming carbon dating is a lie as archeologistss claim the earth older than 6 thousand years.
why do they think
They don't, that's the whole point
murder hates the bible
Many such cases
Ignores history all the Christians who were scientists and founders of scientific disciplines
Return to the source. Stop groveling at the altar of Abrahamic slop created to distort the the truth and spiritually castrate Europa. A genuine spiritual awakening free from any Semitic desert death cult influence is the only way we will ever be free. We are not fallen beings who must beg for forgiveness; we are divine beings more powerful than we know. We've been made to forget what we actually are.
It's literally platonism
Anon, the reason science is so platonic is because science came from Christianity, and Christian theology and thinking was heavily influenced by platonic philosophy.
I mean, at one point Jesus literally is the guy who walks out of a cave.
You dad sounds like a complete retard.
It must run in the family.
"The degree of natural aging of the cellulose that constitutes the linen of the investigated sample, obtained by X-ray analysis, showed that the TS fabric is much older than the seven centuries proposed by the 1988 radiocarbon dating."
"The experimental results are compatible with the hypothesis that the TS is a 2000-year-old relic, as supposed by Christian tradition, under the condition that it was kept at suitable levels of average secular temperature—20.0–22.5 °C—and correlated relative humidity—75–55%—for 13 centuries of unknown history, in addition to the seven centuries of known history in Europe."
"In particular, the WAXS analysis presented here, for the natural aging of the cellulose in the linen of a TS sample, allows us to conclude that it is very probable that the TS is a relic of about 20 centuries old, even if we only have European historical documentation for the last seven centuries."
It goes on to mention that we're fortunate that the Shroud was brought to Europe because the heat and humidity have prevented it from yellowing and fading.
Here's a website that also goes into other studies done in addition to the WAXS studies done by Liberato De Caro:
patternsofevidence.com
Here's the study on the blood referenced in the article I just pasted as well:
374259523_An_Analysis_of_the_DNA_and_Hematological_Findings_of_the_Shroud_of_Turin_and_the_Sudarium_of_Oviedo_Citation
It's not that carbon dating is a lie, the problem is the researchers chose a sample from the Shroud of Turin that was controversial because the sample they used was from an area of the cloth that was was repaired by nuns after it was caught in a fire centuries ago.
Some embers got on that section and new fibers were sown on, that's why the carbon dating was messed up in the 1980s studies and doesn't match newer studies.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
Because the Christian God is the only real one, and apparently back then they had a big problem with people worshipping false gods.
So non-believers go to a place where eternal bad occurs?
No, they suffer in the darkness of being completely separated from God and his light and love.
The only ‘evidence’ we have of any of that is the Bible, which doesn’t count as actual, physical, scientifically verifiable and replicable evidence.
God grants you Free will
"God should not have left us a choice"
Nigger mentality.
I should clarify that it was a corner of the cloth that slightly burned, not the parts bearing the ultra violet image like in the picture I posted here ()
That’s all well and good, but I don’t actually care about the thoughts or opinions of philosophers, only actual hard physical scientists.
Literally the first story in the Bible explains this.
God created the first humans without sin or suffering and placed them in a perfect paradise. They almost immediate chose to defy him and break the only rule he told them to follow.
An ‘explanation’ from the Bible is nothing more than the opinion of the author for why the god they think exists did something that we have no evidence of.
Yes OP, thank you for reading my ((holy)) book fallacy argument. If it was the word of the allege creator it would've being wrote on a language that anyone could read mentally, across the whole planet, and the book should be floating eternally indestructible on top of a mountain.
The fact none of those are true just go to show that every so call ((sacred)) book it's but a scam-artist piece.
And that is basically religions for you, that try to dictated facets of life, just like ideology. The 2 are unironically cancer growth memetics.
