I literally have 3 fridge/freezers in a house of 4 adults. My mum, my wife, her sister and myself. Only me and my missus cook, mum is too old now. So the 'main' fridge has crumpets, eggs, milk, butter, condiments, sandwich goods like ham and cheese, lettuce, tomato, carrots, cucumber and leftovers. Just whatever someone would want for an individual meal. Same with the freezer - individual steaks, hash browns and so on.
Second fridge and freezer is 'storage' for cooking supplies, and sweets. Fruits, vegetables, meats, pre prepared chips and wedges. Also keep cakes and other baked goods in there (for space and less random snacking). The fridge is in the the informal dining room.
The third one in the 'bumper' room is full of cans of soft drink, gin, wine, beer and that freezer has unprocessed meat I haven't carved up yet because I buy all our meat from a wholesaler for near half or less with higher quality than any butcher or the shops. Just means I have to cut my own steaks etc.
