...does this mean we're unliberated now??

...does this mean we're unliberated now??

Yvfi

Why do they mention mimis then give a percentage?

It's always a bait and switch

First 30% is still sky high, second there is a $100 flat fee per package now so trump has essentially outlawed ordering things direct from other countries

Also, heres the real info

On the one hand, de minimis has been eliminated, so there should be no difference between purchases over or under $800. But then this new policy talks about de minimis and sets a 54% rate under de minimis and 30% rate over de minimis. But the whole point of de minimis is that there is NO TARIFF and NO PAPERWORK and no document numbers. T

effortpost

Indeed.

Basically,
it's 54%
30% is only for shipments above $800

This is great. I'm already seeing drop in high end audio prices because Ameriniggers can no longer afford them, so more shit is being dumped here. The price of an SPL Iron just dropped 4 grand. Good times. Keep those tarriffs going.

Sounds like Temu is still fucked.
high end audio equipment doesn't come from China silly ricecel

Sounds like Temu is still fucked.

I think temu/alu/shein will find a work around to get cheap shit to ship at 30 instead of 54, but yea they will still take a massive hit.

Why is there a $100 flat fee AND a 54% tariff per package?
When does the $100 flat fee apply?
Will my package with some $5 lens caps that I can’t find from US sellers get hit with a $100 flat fee?
Why is this situation still so retarded?

This still crushes Temu and Shein, 30% is still absolutely brutal for de minimus

Imagine if you just invested millions to build a new doll factory in America.

Why is there a $100 flat fee AND a 54%

Its either or, not and.

(Also set to rise to 200 in june)
(Not that you can plan on anything trump says lately)

high end audio equipment doesn't come from China silly ricecel

Yes it does.
Even if it says "made in America" all the electronic components are Chinese.

Checking all those packages to see if they have the correct declared value was way too much work apparently so they stuck the $100 flat fee on to make it so as few people as possible will order direct

every time id order chinkshit from ali itd be like 12 individual packages. how the fuck is customs going to create the infrastructure to process that kind of volume out of thin error. they couldnt even get the bullshit real id drivers license system implemented in 10 years and that was a known number of participants. this clownshow hasnt even began

No it's the other way around. Products are "assembled in China" from components made in the West. Dextrous little asian fingers and slave wages are why things are assembled there fren.

Yeah but I doubt 30% is enough to justify moving manufacturing

To as low as 30%

Still too high.
China Post still not shipping parcels.

Call me when it's gone.

components made in the West

Oh really? Like what?

These are the questions that have gone unanswered for months

US stock is still down when you measure it in real terms.
US dollar has lost a lot of value.

If you listen to what companies are saying they are angling for moving to India or Vietnam .. the real goal was never America

My guess is he's giving retail kikes an edge to force us goys to buy from them.
Makes me sick.

people acting like 30% is nothing now

It was ZERO before you retards (not you Anon Babble, y'all good)

The delay on Read ID wasn't on the federal side, it was with the individual states, who for various reasons, didn't want to comply.

All manner of things. For example, in an iPhone that is "assembled in China", almost all the internal components are made in the US and Japan and Taiwan, from chips to gyros to the cameras to the screen.

Trump actually just solved it. There is now a $100 flat fee per package. Voila there is no longer any reason to order in this manner, back to Amazon

Now you're just babbling like a broken fool.

It was 20% before. After all of the theatrics Trump just raised the tariffs by 10%.

Heres the tariff timeline, its a doozy

Timeline.jpg - 640x735, 48.99K

The answer is they don't.
Like I said, China Post is still refusing parcels to JewSA because it's basically going to back up.

Nope, de minimis was 0% before. Sorry bulbhead.

I own over €100k in US stock.
It's still down from my perspective because US dollar lost like 10% of its value over the past months.

There is now a $100 flat fee per package.

No, there is a 54% tariff OR a flat fee, carriers discretion.

That's a really cool story Ozil.

Oh yeah. I forgot that only China got tariffs. Wait. Why are you bullshitting me? Everyone did. AU included. Except this led to us creating a national rare earth reserve outside of the greedy little sticky fingers of your shitty kike corporations as retaliation. 2 days. That's how long it took for your orange monkey man to come crawling to us begging for gibs. No federal decisions have yet been made as the new cabinet reshuffle is more important. He literally got told to wait.

It's hilarious how quickly the US became a nation of beggars. I like it. It suits you. You always were nothing but niggers.

It's hilarious how quickly the US became a nation of beggars. I like it. It suits you. You always were nothing but niggers.

Kek. This is the part where the asian verbal IQ really comes out.

companies are saying they are angling for moving to India

the growing pains of that move are insane in comparison to china. chang will fake qc and steal your designs but ranjeet doesnt even own a micrometer and the material will be the worst mystery meat. i know of a big company here that went from a china supplier with 5% reject to indian with 60% reject on an injection molded part. price savings was like 30% but the production line stoppages from quality issues blew the savings of a years product in a month
india is like china 40 years ago except without the brainpower to improve

The chinks are always happy to lie on a package for you. I have received a few handheld consoles from China a week ago and didn't have any problems with tariffs.

It was probably already in stock ahead of time

there is no longer any reason to order in this manner, back to Amazon

thank yahweh poor mr bezos and walton were suffering

Four grand. That's how much my new compressor dropped in price. Meanwhile you clowns can't even get small packages delivered. Keep seething and revising basic English, nig nog.

lol

The package was not in a US warehouse it came from China but they are not using USPS anymore. Most of what I get from aliexpress now is shipped locally by uniuni. How it gets from China to the US though is beyond me. I assume its all being combined into a large shipment of some kind.

led to us creating a national rare earth reserve outside of the greedy little sticky fingers

You did exactly what we wanted. That stabilizes the market.

I've seen listings in the past where the "product price" was €100 less than the competition but the "shipping cost" was €100 more.

Yeah I don't see why they can't sell consoles for $1 (+$300 shipping) so you pay $0.54 in tariffs.

revising basic English

lol wut?

over 4 grand for a compressor

wtf kind of compressor is that? specification is necessary for your reader, ling ling.

I wouldn’t be surprised if some stuff was being shoved onto ships they weren’t supposed to be on in the short term to avoid tariffs

All those tiny little resistors and caps and transistors are definitely made in China.
CPU Taiwan (TSMC)
Modem/transceivers: Qualcomm, so dunno, China?
Signal amplifier: China
OLED: Samsung/LG, Korea
Camera sensors: Sony (Japan?)
Battery: China
Most of Apple’s suppliers have globalized manufacturing and so could be producing parts in any of a number of places, including China.

They just spot check incoming shipments and count on businesses to report accurately. Importers that get caught cheating get their business licenses pulled and executives jailed. Customs really doesn't fuck around. And businesses don't fuck with customs.

so much for those American factory jobs we were promised

executives jailed

you can't be this fucking stupid

Yeah the cheapest lowest value and lowest tech components may indeed be made in China, sometimes.

Show me the last time a business was sued by customs and the executives weren't jailed. Customs doesn't fuck around.

that is fine for going after a large business and generating tax revenue, one of the primary reasons for the tariffs, but it will do nothing to stop aliexpress or temu.
the US can't stop drugs that are sent by USPS they wont' be able to do anything about the deluge of small packages

The statue of liberty is actually a satire work of art. Did you really think you were free? You were never free, the entire world laughs at you and your fallacy of liberty that you so much believe in. All it took was the idea of the 'murican dream and some stupid statue in new york city to make you faggots believe in muh freedom.

Clearly you've never tried to order an anime figure from Japan and had it held by customs.

They absolutely can and do screen small packages.

well yes it does happen but when you figure the great many packages that enter the country every day it happens to a very small number of packages.
when you order drugs they will often just reship for free if you get a seizure letter. their profit margin is so great and seizures happen so rarely they can do such things.

link me to some executives being jailed for this

Trump holds all the cards.

It was all a show. China and us are actually homies

You know the deal. Amazon has to make their middle man fee, and the distributors make their middle man fee. There is no way the customer can just get it direct without paying a million middle men their cut..

exactly. just another case of the non elite class getting fucked and it being sold as a win
