I’ve been in the towing business for 14 years and you can literally be a fucking retard and get this job. The hours are long (overtime) and it’s a lot of work…BUT it won’t break your body like other jobs. If you get sick of it you can go be a trucker.

You won’t get rich, but you’ll ALWAYS have a job. My company (pic related) is literally always hiring. Most guys leave because they jump over to trucking or are just simply LAZY. Because it’s not even that hard of a job. I mention these two jobs because I just don’t see them going anywhere, like ever, and I swear as long as you don’t have a DUI (and they can ever work around that) you’ll get hired, and security companies hire you on the SPOT. You don’t need a CDL to tow but you’ll make more if you get one, and you’ll make more if you get forklift certified. I got my CDL in 3 weeks and forklift certified in one day.

And then you can always just work at a hospital too. My brother does that and he makes pretty good money as a groundskeeper. My dad was a trash collector (making 6 figures for the city of Los Angeles) and I love my dad and brother but man are they dumb.

If you’re young though, I’d recommend security at night and then going to trade school during the day. Plumbing/electrical would’ve been my choice. I like driving though. Best wishes.
