Reusable rockets have a place and if they cost much more than individual use, then one has to balance things out.
I think that the recent space flights by the other powers have all been disposable rockets and they were very low cost compared to what is left of the burger space program. The indian latest space missions have been very economic compared to the burger's. I believe they launched some sats for solar and space scanning for a fraction of what other countries have spent before. This is quite interesting and actually amazing they managed to pull that off.

yea there were some different names on the earlier days of the project. Burgers wanted to name it freedon station or some bullshit and russians wanted to name it MIR-2 though i think those were the names of the two original modules of each respective country. Then they called ir ralpha for whatever reason (i ignore it) and then both settled for the iss because others wanted in.
