I was fine with them till I encountered one that was on such a power trip and trying to show off for his little blonde female partner that I would be extremely cautious of any further police interactions because I now know how shit they can go.

There are definitely some bad apples. Departments should do a better job at vetting candidates but when you’re already struggling to cover shifts in a district with limited manpower, you could imagine why shit candidates ultimately make it in.
