don't know if this would help, but when they used to slow the ui a lot, I whitelisted jewtube cookie (no influence anywhere else, because of temporary containers always opening jewtube in a designated shitting container, and cookie autodelete also keeping the cookie only for that container), and it went back to being fast

The real solution is to stop using YouTube and get as many people as possible off it.

Short-term just use an inbuilt block browser, or one that forces mobile versions and auto-skips them after a few seconds.

I feels like it’s something beyond add block. The whole thing is getting more laggy and defective. Definitely a trend since at least one or two years but in the last couple of months it’s getting increasingly worse. To the point it’s barley usable for most tasks. Even the searches won’t really load anymore beyond the first page. You can’t find things anymore using youtubes own tools. Now you have to use different search engines to find anything. The suggestions are horrible. Anything older than 72 hours doesn’t really show up. It’s completely broken.
