Why is everyone here so braindead as to think some kind of direct individual-persons oriented solution is the answer?
The problem is I can get government benefits and assistance, and even help with my bank account, EASIER if I don't speak English and need someone to help me in Spanish. The problem is that for many decades, public schools have been printing communication in English and Spanish. The problem is that I can interact with the system whatsoever, let alone sometimes with greater ease, completely unable to speak English. The problem is a relatively small handful of business suits benefit immensely from illegal labor and not a single one of them will ever see consequences or bear any responsibility for the problem they both contribute to and benefit from. Trying to fix the flooding by scooping up water a cup at a time is fucking retarded, dam the sources.
And this proves that it has never been about ACTUALLY fixing the problem. Deportations basically cannot fix this problem unless we go full military dictatorship, and I'd rather have them stay here than live under an American (Israeli) dictatorship myself, especially when they will happily replace hispanics with Indians. The actual criminals and criminal system that needs these people won't be touched. Instead we'll shut down the NLRB, or make a big show of shutting down USAID, but somehow can't have aid services only in English?
