I'm currently voluntarily homeless and have been for a year now and I actually have yet to be bothered. I have money and groom myself and shower at the gym so most people wouldn't think I'm homeless. The thing is, most voluntarily homeless people don't lay on park benches like bums do so they can beg for money in he city in the morning. Most of us either sleep in our cars and if no car we pitch a tent in a wooded area. I've slept on a bench twice when I couldn't be bothered to look for an empty spot for my tent and most people probably just assumed I'm a normal guy just drunk from the bar and leave me alone.

Same thing happened to me in the US. I was doing some night photography, very long exposures. So while I was waiting for the exposure to finish some sheboon sneaks up on me and screams at me that I cant sleep here.

I ended up on the street for 2 months saving money to get a car and working as much as I could since my bosses would not give me enough hours. Live out of my car for another 8 months and then went to school and now doing pretty well for myself.
During those 2 months it was absolute horror, during the day it was great but during the night I would not be able to go around anywhere as people would actively hunt homeless for fun, I was clean, would pay for everything out of my pocket and wasnt doing anything to anybody. When I got my car it was the greatest relief of my life.
You end up very easily on the street most of you guys just are too sheltered and have established families.

You just need to get a car, get a subzero weather sleeping bag and get something to block the windows like those anti sun pads so people cant look inside, then find a nice parking lot nobody will bother you and you are good to go, shower at gyms, and eat cooked meals who go for a pretty decent price at grocery stores. At one point in my life every day I was eating a rotisseries chicken and some bread and a protein shake with multivitamins. After a couple months I barely could stomach it, still only eat chicken when I am absolutely forced to.

Park rangers constantly check the parks and you cant go set up a tent in somebody elses land, you will end up shot during the night and the cops will just take your body to the morgue and your death will never be solved.
