the thing that really gets me is... all these teachers, principals, and school admin still getting paid for effectively failing at their jobs. and they don't care as long as the money keeps coming.
but that was my experience in college, too. professors just wanted a cushy job with summers off and were fine showing up to do jack shit for a class that shoulda just been at at home assignment out of a text book.

The teachers are all in denial because they have been brainwashed into thinking race isn't real. Most non-Whites are simply too stupid to learn how to read.

Many years I tutored math in college learning center. Mostly algebra/calculus, occassionally diff eq. A lot of remedial shit too though. Anyway, black lady came in one time for help with basic remedial math. I can usually figure how someone sees problems after showing them numerous different ways to solve it, they'll generally latch on to one of the ways which is enough to get them to expand their thinking. However, this lady couldn't even do basic fractions. I tried like 30 different ways to teach her and I finally realized the problem. Her math background was far below even fractions.

I'll tell you, it bothers me to this day that despite her willingness to seek help, there was nothing I can do but recommend she start over entirely. Most people are math retards though. You can teach them enough to plug & chug and replicate, but they don't understand it. I would say ~80% of people are even capable of understanding algebra.

Once again reading Fun with Dick and Jane to me where the little kid was messing with whipped cream on a beater and suddenly the words leap off the page to me and I recognized them l. I ran thru the house screaming I can read I can read as my mom giggled with joy. Am well read now for a lifetime. Rest her soul. She did an amazing thing for me. You know how there's a lot of medieval texts that are full of transcription errors and completely illegible passages because the scribe was illiterate and just copied the shapes he saw on the page? It's kind of like that.

That's insane.. When I got in major trouble when I was in my early teens my dad forced me to read the most boring book he could magically conjure from his highschool era. He'd quiz me on it, and if I didn't "pass," he'd give me a new book to read and he'd quiz me again on it. I wasn't un-grounded until I passed a quiz. Usually took me a week to get out of it.

I read about this somewhere. I think it was here. Someone reposted what a teacher wrote about being in a nigger school, how he couldn't hold his classes cause niggers disrupted them one way or another and when he complained he was told that, quote - it's their culture.

So yeah, another reason to keep your kids out of nigger schools.

I think the problem is that a lot of teachers don't bother with theory unless you're in AP. I fucking hated algebra, but had a great Geometry teacher that made proofs sound like they were droll and scary, and painstakingly went through the process of explaining logical and geometrical proofs. I was pretty subpar in algebra, but had more than a 100% in geometry and even helped tutor other students. I took formal logic in college for fun, and took two levels of engineering calculus for my B.S. in computer science.

The real problem was that I was homeschooled for pre-algebra, and sitting down and reading a textbook about math was the most boring goddamn thing to me so I hated the subject. I blame my dumb bitch of a mother for that though. Not a surprise most math teachers are male.

True but also even if the parent doesn't give a shit the school should be able to instill at least a basic ability to read. The kid is there 8 hours a day 180 days a year with teachers that are supposed to be teaching them. The fact that the kid can't read is a failure of both the parents and the school.
