It's not "impossible" but it's sure as shit harder than it was 30 years ago.

Online dating has ruined a lot of it with unrealistic expectations and an over abundance of selective options. Before, you used to have to meet someone in person at a bar or someone in high school and hope to god they're the right one.

Now you can select one and then if it doesn't work out, you can simply move on to the next. Rinse and repeat.

Think of it like this. I once spent the night at a chicks house and she was talking about the over abundance of Bumble matches she had. Compare that to men on the same app and the difference is night and day. Men don't get nearly as many matches as women do on dating apps and unless you pay for premium, you're messages will often get overlooked.
