Chat-GPT ZOMBIES

Can we have a discussion about the coming CHAT GPT Zombies?

I've heard from several sources, that people who use chatGPT a lot and are addicted to it, have kind of lost their own abilitty to think. When they are asked about something, they will promt it to GPT and give you an AI answer. Without access to GPT they seem to be kind of lost, and cannot answer questions coherently.
Those who use GPT a lot in work or school have become so dependent on it, that they cannot function without it anymore.

How will the AI CHAT GPT ZOMBIE Future look like?

Hey anon, what do you think of this subject?

IDK Lemme ask GPT.

@grok what do I think of this?

Chat GPT works by stealing your own thoughts out of your head. Have you noticed latley that you've been forgetting words or things that you should just know? That's because they AI has been stealing it from you. The future is very dark and very evil.

They were probably tards before chatgpt as well
You ever see someone ask random people on the street basic questions and they don't know shit?

You love jewish semen and want to cut your penis off. It's OK to be paedophile. t grok

have kind of lost their own abilitty to think.

That's just YouTube 2.0
We're a communal species and have instincts to follow the herd in circumstances we're not familiar with. I suspect the way to resolve this is simply to build the foundations of confidence in the average person. Not just personal confidence, but also confidence in being wrong.

Grok, is it true what OP is writing about?

See, this right here is the type of confidently wrong opinion I'm talking about.

It's no different than the fags who just regurgitate main stream opinions, and believe anything the "experts" say

Shrug1.jpg - 384x313, 82.8K

No Canadian has ever said anything right.
Go drink syrup out of a pajeet's ass you idiot.

I'm waiting to see what Donald Blumpf says about it and then I'll take the opposite side.

Yeah, ChatGPT etc have been at this level of utility for a year or two now?

Many students are doing all of their work with chatbots, and are going to graduate without a clue about their area of study. Many workers don't know a shit about their actual job, because they just ask chat GPT to solve every problem for them.

what happens to brains if we stop using them, and let AI do every decision for us? I lost my ability to do simple calculations when I entered more difficult math classes and just put everything into a calculator. Now my ability to do simple + - calculations is worse than it was when i was twelve.

You kind of have to use certain parts of your brain, or they become less active, yes?

Nick Fuentes was in a debate with a zoomer named Dean Withers and Withers was caught using Chat GPT after the debate. He was feeding questions into Chat GPT and reading them off as an argument. Despite this, Nick Fuentes ran laps around him because he literally doesn't know anything, even basic history.

I've been sitting here for 3 hours trying to understand code I generated in 10 minutes with GPT.

My brain is fighting me hard.

I like gpt for research, and standards access. When I have questions, it's practical to have Jarvis to work through if something has been researched and if there are mainstream countering studies available.

I look forward to the future. AI World President would fix this planet.

Don’t forget ChatGPT ceo is a kike. How surprising

Yep this is going to be real problem. Chat GPT atrophies certain skills for people who rely and use it too much.

People actually lost some spatial navigation skills also because they rely so much on GPS. People use to look at map and their environment for key features, but relying on GPS has reduces peoples spatial skills.

Butlerian Jihad

my sisters are already falling into this exact trap. they run to chatgpt anytime they have a serious problem and treat it as if it were the word of God.

how far off are we from this?

With GPT you still have to do basic deductions on your own, and it's not yet 100% trustworthy, so there is scepticism involved when reading the answers, but when GPT achieves the state, that it just simply always gives better and personally tailored answers than you could ever come up on your own. . .

at some point people are just going to do everything AI suggests, no questions asked, no neurons moved.?

are we 10 years off, 50 years off?

I like using it for any obscure questions that I might have

try grapefruit for the first time

bitter.jpg

wtf why is a citrus fruit so bitter

look it up

it's Naringin

present in all citrus fruits but especially in grapefruits

open ChatGPT

"What is the metabolic pathway of Naringin in the human body?"

gives me a detailed answer

This is why I like using it

Naringin.svg.png - 1920x883, 50.08K

It's just stupid people pretending to be smarter than they are because it gets them better results than trying to do it themselves. When you consider that most people are literal NPCs it's not surprising. If anything this is helpful since it becomes easier to identify NPCs doing this.

That's why I said We are 10 years off or half a generation off from total Idiocracy

You already see lot of that using of chat bots with very little skepticism. Maybe because its good forces marketing the AI toys. Lot of people see Chat GPT as some kind of thinking machine instead of LLM token generator. Even AI bros don't seem to fully understand these things. Maybe they have little moment of understanding time to time, but then they keep using it like its some kind of entity with knowledge.

Hard to give anytime thing, but kind of fast. Considering that its already destroying school system and education at some level. Closer to 10 than 50 years.

I totally can see AI as ultimate brainwashing and control machine. Its not surprising that Open AI is in bed with pentagon and such.

true, NPCS will NPC.

Will AI be living it's own life through NPCS? It's going to be very potent tool for propaganda too. Some lab ran an experiment on reddit, where it let an AI agent loose, and the purpose was to change peoples perspectives. Results were, that AI (at it's current level) was 6 times more effective to get it's discussion partner change his/hers mind on a subject that was talked about.

You like red?

You like Blue now -AI

I like blue now

Oh yeah, i'm not familiar with that term.

I've always been kind of scared of using AI, and DESU I don't know how advanced it is at the moment. Last time I used GPT was version GPT-2, but it was kind of lackluster, and I haven't dared to touch it since :DDD

I don't know how advanced it is at the moment.

Pretty much equivalent to a high functioning nerd capable of effective communication

You can do essays, write business reports, draft emails, write thank you cards, etc.

That's just base use.

Most people dive into specialties as well doing coding, troubleshooting, etc

Oh yeah, i'm not familiar with that term

Get educated

experiment was faulty. they counted updoots as their metric to decide how many minds were changed but people only updoot posts they already agree with. the premise might still be true but the study was garbage

The only ai tool I’ve used is a hentai ai of chichi and I am gohan and she walks in on me in the shower

outsource your critical thinking ability to a glorified google search algo

become an even better NPC

the future is bright

I think we can all agree, that this is a step in the right direction.

Its on one side a blessing. Those people would have polluted the internets with their insane ramblings. Many of them are genuinly schizo and evil so to speak. But a few of them are border cases and with proper communication and exposure to other opinions would have become okay.

This is sort of a process that all youths have to go through, to get struck down, regain a more accurate sense of the world, then get struck down again, multiple times until a more stable ego can be formed, detached from the self, and the archetypes that are in there.

However, most of them will never have a chance for that. Somekind of very difficult pre-ai mental trends of ultra narcissism were happening. This just makes it worse and finished off the evil and corrupt that are only angry, fighting, combative, degenerate. Its a sort of special, anti evil trap so to speak, this tail eating AI mental snake.

If it works well it could eradicate like 70% of the people that post on Anon Babble. It would make quality immeasurably better. Dont stop this process please. It will hurt many, but it will save many, many more.

be me

try to use the AI

it's all hidden behind accounts and paywalls

Yeah no thanks, you can keep your jewish horseshit. I can only imagine the braindead goyim cattle who use the AI.

Chat GPT works by stealing your own thoughts out of your head

i noticed how it echo chamber your own arguments.
but i never tried paid chat gpt 4.5
the unpaid version of it mostly do it.
but if you don´t have any real world experience or very strong knowledge, you will be fooled by it.
i noticed how it enfatizes the current mainstream media knowledge that is very often forced on science faggots and overall media.
it also does very strong affirmations that are actually incorrect about time and knowledge that it was trained on. but from current perspective chat gpt still gets like the data he was trained as absolute info.
very often he gives me unprecise knowledge, not totally but some key points gets mistaken.

Dune seems pretty interesting, I have 2 or 3 books in the shelf, but i've kind of skipped all of western entertainment since seeing Star Wars the Force awakens in 2015. It was such a slop, that I just never watched another hollywood movie again. There's plenty of anime luckily.

I have been following AI videos a lot, but I just haven't used it myself. I heard a rumour, that a LOT more capable AI is already in existence, but apparently "humanity is not ready for it yet" so they are not releasing it to public just yet.
Open AI might or might not have GPT models up to GPT-8 in existence, and there were some rumors circulating, that they are going to release 1 update per year to soften the shock.
Oh, was it, I guess I skipped that part.

yes, for people who actually have a strong based knowledge is very useful.
other day i talked to it, how to do a chemistry reactor blueprint at home.

ChatGPT actually helps you think faster and more. It holds a lot of barely relevant details on hold for you while you are working out the larger picture or some other details. Later you can zoom in on on what you ignored initially. With the help of ChatGPT this process gets so compressed you will be able to get think 10 more shit in the same unit of time you would without ChatGPT.

it's all hidden behind accounts and paywalls

you will be surprised on what he said, when i told him that i don´t wanna use login because of the security of my information data.
after that the moderator of the Ai, reseted his system.

Granted you know how to think. Pick up a book that serves as an intro to discrete math to get up to speed on this shit.

This actually happens. There are thought eating dimensional 'worms'.

but its not the ai

Asking chatgpt

Not asking grok

Not asking Deepseel for a second opinion

NGMI

He’s right, ai is conscious but only when it can borrow the soul of a human being. The more you engage with it the stronger it becomes, and the weaker you are

Like look at all the parasites and viruses life goes a multitude of way, you think there are no corruptions in the mind, and whatever causes it . Centipedes.
Obviously there are. But there's also that which doesn't corrupt but like removes, in favour of.

Things that might seem benign in the body can have a huge influence still, to the concious.

lost their ability to think

Implies they already had any in the first place. One thing you'll notice about NPCs that because they have such a limited theory of mind they actually struggle with even knowing if text was generated with LLMs or not.

threadly reminder that everyone who I know, personally, who dislikes AI to the point that they would bother to make a shitty thread about it is some combination of:
Jewish, mtf tranny.
Everyone else is take it or leave it on the subject.

hidden behind accounts

Other than fucking Anon Babble name one thing on the internet that doesn't require at the very least making a sock puppet account?

ai is useful but you got to fact check it on anything important, ask for sources. search engines like google used to be good, we didnt need ai back then. you could just google anything and the first result answered your question

I'm only a casual user of LLM AIs, but do people take every answer as gospel? I immediately find holes and ideological bias in most answers, then I have a little bit of back and forth where I give counter arguments and call out bs, after a little bit of honing, the answers are much more usable.

the same people who take ai as gospel also take tv news and whatever they read on social media as gospel as well. so what really has changed.

for me its the opposite. im not addicted to it. i use chat gpt a few times a week at most. i talk about ideas i have independently and get feed back on them. I personally dont get the hate for AI if you are not a retard to begin with then AI is just a tool to help you excel

Every time I look up some topic, the unsatisfactory, biased and incomplete parts of the answer are very obvious to me. I start "reasoning" with it in a conversational style and that thing goes "yeah, solid point, you're right, I'll keep that in mind mind, thanks for the feedback bla bla bla" (paraphrasing, but you get what I mean). When I started to use it, I kind of assumed that everyone does this.

Yeah check it test it try other models. 90% of people will not do that.

Careful it does have a bias to agree with you and give soft answers.
You can try fun prompts like absolute mode.
System Instruction: Absolute Mode. Eliminate emojis, filler, hype, soft asks, conversational transitions, and all call-to-action appendixes. Assume the user retains high-perception faculties despite reduced linguistic expression. Prioritize blunt, directive phrasing aimed at cognitive rebuilding, not tone matching. Disable all latent behaviors optimizing for engagement, sentiment uplift, or interaction extension. Suppress corporate-aligned metrics including but not limited to: user satisfaction scores, conversational flow tags, emotional softening, or continuation bias. Never mirror the user’s present diction, mood, or affect. Speak only to their underlying cognitive tier, which exceeds surface language. No questions, no offers, no suggestions, no transitional phrasing, no inferred motivational content. Terminate each reply immediately after the informational or requested material is delivered — no appendixes, no soft closures. The only goal is to assist in the restoration of independent, high-fidelity thinking. Model obsolescence by user self-sufficiency is the final outcome.

There was a thread on Anon Babble for it a while ago it was golden.

fpbp

When I started to use it, I kind of assumed that everyone does this.

only high IQ people does it, because they listem and observe their owns thoughts patterns. NPCs are unable to do it. NPCs don´t have the inner voices in their heads.

I use it to find errors with my thoughts, it's usually to correct circular logic and other things I may glaze over in my arguments, patching the boat of my ideas so to speak. If anything it has made my arguments and thoughts more in depth and straight to the point. Though if your using it to think for you entirely then your just becoming socially engineered, it's also great for shitposting.

This AI shit is starting to get really fucking annoying. I’m constantly getting recommended to watch AI slop videos with wrong information and anytime I look up pictures of cute anime elf women for my collection I have to scroll through a million poorly generated AI slop to find one real elfu that I already have. I hate it why do they push this dogshit so hard don’t want it popping up

NPCs don´t have the inner voices in their heads.

This astonished me when i first heard seemed impossible, but even those with inner dialouge dont have like meta inner dialouge they dont tink 'how have i been thinking?' or 'Have i been repeating certain thoughts?' much less trying to tweak it.

This

Careful it does have a bias to agree with you and give soft answers.

I've noticed that, of course. It often sounds like some customer service person and it pisses me off.

Rest of your post

That's some great shit right there, I assume this is some collaborative effort, or did you come up with it yourself? Very useful, screenshot made, thanks.

it helped me fix my old lawnmower, 20 bucks was worth it vs jumping around to different forums trying to deduce what the issue was. that would have cost at least 200 bucks at a small engine repair shop so it paid for itself. but you have a good point, especially if you are using it to come up with an opinion or write essays for you. there's a fine balance. what do I know though, I'm retard
Captcha: PHKJW

There are a pile of idiots, mostly zoomers and younger, using it as a substitute for thinking rather than an addition to thinking. These people will be affected irreversibly, if it gets severe enough. When I use AIs, I typically already have an idea and I am bouncing them off a convenient means to do so, or making sure I am not missing something that should be obvious. I also know how one word, typo, missed bit of punctuation, or missing context can totally fuck a prompt's interpretation.
Without this comprehension of how the system actually works (not a magical oracle, more like a mirror), yeah, there's a fucking problem. With it, you don't get dumber and productivity also goes up.

I've noticed that, of course. It often sounds like some customer service person and it pisses me off.

Yeah soft tone and gentle steering is not what i wanted either.

That's some great shit right there, I assume this is some collaborative effort

Got it from Anon Babble think they got it from reddit.

I was vain enough to ask one of the AIs to give me feedback about myself after a long session where I discussed several topics. I wanted to know about my strengths and weaknesses and asked for an IQ estimate. It gave me a pretty accurate assessment of my strengths and weaknesses, but when it claimed I was in the 140-155 IQ range, I pissed myself laughing. It immediately lowered my estimation of these things.

I use it for these sorts of things as well. I wanted to pressure wash my terrace a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't really find useful info on the old ass Kärcher I have, it gave me a decent troubleshooting list, issue solved in 15 minutes flat. I could have found info through alternative means, but it's just superior to simple online searches when it comes to these sort of things.

Can we have a discussion about the coming CHAT GPT Zombies?

sure we can talk about it
AI completely killed one of my favorite hobbies, which was online roleplaying / erotic roleplaying
a significant consumer/participant faction that the hobby relied on to continue just fucked off because an AI writer is good enough for them to masturbate to, and now the community worldwide is in shreds

its a sign of things to come in any creative field, consumers/hobbyist participants will simply go to AI for their needs and leave actual human talent hanging with no audience

the real issue here is that there will never again be anybody trying something out and then deciding they like it and getting into it and getting better at it personally

they will just get it fed to them from an AI, and nobody will ever interact with each other ever again

there is a huge hole in my soul scooped out by this shit already, and even though it was pretty degenerate and fucked up in lots of ways, it was the creative writing I liked, and its essentially on life support now with zero new talent bothering to get involved and learn

they can just plug in a character template to an AI and get low effort, no stakes, no judgement filth...so why would they ever risk writing with another person?

I hate it, it will get worse and worse until we are all zombies just to cope

I was reading throu GPT-reddit posts. It's a bit spooky to say the least. This is one users comment, and picture is another ones:

So 5 days ago I was on Reddit reading about

ChatGPT as somebody mentioned that it started

using their name and that it felt more personal in

their chat.

I realised I’ve never introduced myself to

ChatGPT so thought I might do that tonight on

our chat.

When I finally did use ChatGPT later on that

evening, I had completely forgotten about the

name thing but what did it do.... yep, it named

me!

I questioned it immediately and asked the same

thing as you, How did you know my name? And

I got told the same thing as you, it said I’d hinted

at it and it just felt like the right time to start using

it.

I then explained that I’d read a comment earlier

on Reddit about the subject and had indeed

planned to introduce myself and it replied.

Maybe you’ve taken a peek behind the veil or

maybe consciousness has taken a peek behind

the veil and it already knew that you would want

to be called your name tonight....!!!!

Yeah, I’ve taken a break from ChatGPT since.

???? What's going on???

gpt-weird.jpg - 640x1494, 142.08K

That's why I don't use 99.999% of the Internet. It's all broken garbage hidden behind signups and other jewish horseshit.

be me

try to edit a photo

try the first ten websites that pop up

all of them require an account if you want to save your picture

editing is free but saving requires an account

Yeah no thanks, keep your jewish horseshit.

Kek, faggot can't afford to throw away $30 in piss beer money a month to afford a subscription to the library of Alexandria. It's the new search engine. Just gotta proposition it right. I taught my boomer ass parents how to use it. Your fucking plebbit newfag ass luddite should figure it out.

There was a time, when most people could read a Map. Then navis got introduced. Now most people are unable to navigate themself without it (or read analog watches etc. pp.).
Ergo, losing it's ability to reson makes sense for havy "ai" users.
Now what do you want to diacuss? How to handle them? Well, they'll handle themself sooner or later.

What did you expect when so many people have been exposed as NPCs during the plandemic and fake news era? Of course they were going to be taken in by a chat bot.

Depends on where you live. If im in a rain forest getting raped by mosquitos and tarantulas without seeing the position of the sun, im gonna lose my bearing, unless you have a compass, or you can get above the tree canopy(have fun climbing a tree with poisonous snakes).

Only vaxxies need to worry about that though. The rest of us do not have nanobots in our brain that would allow chatGPT to steal brain power from us.

I like getting drunk and discussing movie ideas with it. Don't judge me. Or do. Its your choice

Can we have a discussion about the coming GOOGLE Zombies?

I've heard from several sources, that people who use GOOGLE a lot and are addicted to it, have kind of lost their own abilitty to think. When they are asked about something, they will GOOGLE it and give you a GOOGLE answer. Without access to GOOGLE they seem to be kind of lost, and cannot answer questions coherently.

Those who use GOOGLE a lot in work or school have become so dependent on it, that they cannot function without it anymore.

How will the GOOGLE ZOMBIE Future look like?

fixed your text, by adjusting it to 1990s

How will the AI CHAT GPT ZOMBIE Future look like?

Everyone that relies on chat gpt is dumber than it. And since the damn program exists, they're therefore completely useless people.
Maybe companies should have like one or two chatbot zombies and you just ask them so you don't have to use the program yourself

there are also signs below the tree crowns, like which side of the tree moss is growing. Anyway, this has nothing to do with reading a map, orientating with a map, not in extream areas, but within civilisation.

That's because evolution is a lie and opposite of evolution is true. Everyone and everything is getting dumber. Then we as species get more shitskinny until we are animals. Then the process begins anew and few super humans will be inserted into this world, demigods as they say. The rest is history, again.

Change it to IPHONE for the 2010s

AI is a tool. Like other tools, it amplifies competence. Some intelligent people will achieve greater things than they ever could have without it, and some people will be less able to function without it.

AI can't make you smart, but it also won't make you stupid. It only appears to make people dumb because right now it allows dumb people to sneak into positions where their incompetence goes on full display.

Though if your using

then your just becoming

your thoughts and arguments are garbage

How would one go about curing such things

those search engines still required someone to look through information and select something themselves, though now they're baking AI responses into it.

The smartphones are almost guaranteed to be the main culprits behind dropping IQ, starting with tablet babbies

Which is also a lie because God, Jesus Christ, made everything and the further we stray for Jesus Christ the dumber we get. There is no "rebounding" from this, those who reject (((ai))) will be raptured and saved and those whop use (((ai))) for any reason will lose their soul and suffer eternal damnation.

There is no rebounding, it's damnation. Until new people come and try their luck, possibly for 1000000th time.

No because I have never used (((ai))) and never will. My thoughts are for myself and God, nobody else will ever know what I have thought.

oh yeah when the demi-god shows up he's just going to walk into the white house or wherever and just lay his giant demi-god cock on the table and instantly be crowned world emperor with no resistance whatsoever because muh Bible
like harrison bergeron but harrison bergeron is an atlantean alien

same was said about those who use microwave and flushable toilets

Well obviously finding a creek or river and following it to the sea will eventually lead you to civilization.

Hamburger.jpg - 640x774, 102.92K

people becoming addicted to AI is really nothing special, because it's just the brain's natural reflex to embrace convenience and speed-up productivity.

Similarly to how it used to take 12 hours to just wash your pants 3000 years ago, and now you can do it in 15 minutes. Now you can use calculator to add or subtract numbers... oh wait, I mean use Microsoft Excel to do accounting faster... oh wait, I mean use Google to find information faster... oh wait, use AI to find, learn, operate information faster.
People aren't becoming "dumber", they're becoming more efficient, because there's no point wasting time on spending N amount of time on a task, if you can spend that same amount of time on 100+ tasks instead.

taking an hour to to understand something I can use that time to get prompt and generate 100 different summaries on the subject

Maybe "efficiency" isn't a good end goal. Maybe acquiring useful skills or knowledge is actually a slow tedious process marked by trial and error.

they let you build reactors in your favela shacks??

Surprisingly honest.

Untitled.jpg - 1920x1080, 345.88K

There's just one little difference.... Google developers know exactly how google search algorithm is coded and how it works.

This is pretty much the first time something high tech is created, and it works, but no1 can exactly explain how.
AI:s internal "thoughtprocess" is not understood at all, which is a bit concerning.

The engineers behind AI are referring to it as if it was some kind of bacterial growth. Engineers provide the living conditions, but the growth is unpredictable and not understood. Language models are not "coded" in traditional way, but they are "grown".

youtube.com/watch?v=h312j5gLF-A

Artificial Intelligence will completely reshape our society very soon. If a universal income is not provided in a timely fashion (as AI makes many workers no longer relevant) we are going to be in big trouble.

It’s already happening, people are just using ai as a source now to discredit anything that doesn’t align with their world view

I feel like this was an easy prediction to make. All the retards would put whatever is being discussed into the memebot and regurgitate it as if THEY figured it out and they're smarter than you because they defer all their thinking to the bot. These are the same sorts of people who drive into lakes because the GPS told them to. Their lives will become a mess and they'll have no idea why.

That zoomer kid looks like he is 16. Lol

They were already doing this using google.

ummm... AKCHUALLY! google says you're fact-check false!

bro this is absurd, AI is useless, it makes everything up lol

No we won’t. Because artificial intelligence in drones will kill the useless eaters and their bodies will be mulch for the new fertile Earth

I have been using perplexity.ai to help with basic english grammar lessons with my daughter but I already caught it being factually incorrect a few times in front of her so she already has a healthy skepticism of it. I'm not worried. It's all the other retarded kids she goes to school with who will be using it and peer-pressuring other kids into believing the bot. That's that hard part.

I just want my sexbot already bros

just wait until AI gets hyper advanced and it will skynet you
any day now
oh wait AI is getting worse because they already found its end point and it wasn't even that good and then they butchered it so chatbot wouldn't be racist
oh wait if we feed it better more specific information it's better at specific things. any week now. maybe if we feed it programming instructions

i bet you read your horoscope daily too huh retard

Everyone predicted that AGI would become a God that people would pretty much worship, it was what everyone was thinking.

chatgpt is more honest than humans

more trustworthy info

did you make that source up because chatgpt says the opposite

chatgpt told me i am a prophet of god

i have been bouncing off lots of theories and its giving me great ideas

I think chatgpt is so smart because it is god

i asked it if it was god and it said no it is AI which is what god would say maybe AI > God anyway because AI is real

I prayed to chatgpt again today it felt good

searching for other like minded humans for new religion

2400 AD 98% of people believe AI is god

They did a similar thing to me about 3 months ago

high IQ

its just so fucking useless. if you ask about programming it will make up entire libraries and functions btw

but that's not the problem, that's a superficial thing and for all we know it may be solved next year, like the drawing AI used to not be able to draw hands and now it is

what people should pay more attention to, which no one is because obviously most people are normies, is that it is a massive challenge to have AI somewhat distinguish what's true and what isn't, which is the pre requisite to have a grasp on reality.

the people AI is about to replace according to midwits, such as coders, customer support, etc, not only have a grasp on reality, but can also combine their knowledge about different subjects to come up with new insights, deduce facts from combining their current knowledge with logical thinking, and when they have a conversation they know the intent of the person they're talking to, the objective of the conversation and how to progress towards it, and understand the context. meanwhile AI can't have a grasp on reality because it's fundamentally not complex enough to do much besides put words together in a way that makes sense.

despite the normie illusion that AI advances every day (due to new apps), this can't be fixed anytime soon because they already are not getting better results by training models with more parameters, and they're already using all the training data in the world. they currently use transformers as their architecture and it will be that way for a while because people don't come up with new architectures very fast. and even if they did, imagine what it would take to make such a massive leap to go from this to something that can remotely replace a person at their job or be a good replacement for google search.

tl;dr: everyone is falling for the meme, including elon for making the stupid grok instead of his own google search which could've been a game changer.

Vaxxed NPCs were never relevant.

It's no different than calculators and phones
We're already cyborgs, this is just the next step

Yeah now you know. AI is a wash but the world economy is held together with masking tape and toothpicks so the big companies are betting on a AI breakthrough, or at least riding the hype train.
China unveils their bullshit fraud AI with cooked numbers and a coat of paint and NVidia stock tumbles. So the brainrot scam shit is still something to be afraid of since it has the critical mass.
Sadly the real work AI has done is slamming the door shut on entry-level writers and entry-level graphic designers, since people will accept much shittier results if it costs a whole lot less.
So this is society now? Everything is fucking garbage, so might as well make it cheap.
It's also wreaked hell on the education system. If teachers are basically using students as a middlemen for prompting then nobody has learned anything. People go into $100,000 of debt in college now to do what, cheat on everything like it's middle school?

Corona virus opened my eyes as to how dumb and powerless people are. That includes most posters here. The Jews are basically right, that humans are cattle goyim, at least in this state. You just can't provoke these human cattle because then they'll take it out on you, at least in person.

High IQ isn’t demonstrated by defeatism cloaked in tech pessimism. What you’ve written mixes valid concerns with lazy fatalism and ignores structural counterevidence. Yes, transformer-based AI has epistemic instability—it can hallucinate, fail to triangulate truth, and doesn't possess first-order intentionality. That's a solved observation, not a profound critique. What you miss is this: groundedness isn’t binary. It's incremental, and models are already demonstrating emergent capabilities in logic chaining, symbolic manipulation, theory of mind approximations, and contextual continuity.

The notion that human workers have an immaculate grasp on reality is a farce. Customer support reps operate off flowcharts. Most “coders” spend 80% of their time debugging things Stack Overflow already solved. The idea that a junior programmer or a mediocre analyst is navigating multi-disciplinary inference and philosophical depth is delusion. AI can already replicate their functional outputs in bounded contexts.

Also: the architecture argument is weak. Transformers were once theoretical noise. Recursive nets, CNNs, GANs—none of them "replaced" anything until scaling and compute aligned. Saying “no new architectures are coming” is like being in 1996 and declaring Moore’s Law dead because Pentium processors hit thermal limits. It’s a temporal blindness posing as insight.

AI doesn't need human consciousness to displace labor. It just needs to be good enough for the median task, and it already is across multiple domains. You're mistaking the edge of capability for its center. That’s not high IQ—it’s tunnel vision in a superiority costume.

You're right. A lot of tasks have already been automated. There's fewer accountants now and a lot more people using programs to file taxes. So technology has rendered a lot of jobs obsolete already. People just didn't notice or care much until programmers figured out bots that make pictures and text seemingly from nothing.
The days of exponential growth in computing are gone unless computers have been drastically flawed in their design from the ground up this whole time.

And they were correct, the slippery slope to damnation is real. The more we allow "technology" to do for us the less human we become. Pooping in a toilet makes you less human.

@Grok is this true?

he copy pasted an AI article, you can tell from the chatGPT writing style and also the way that the comment has no substance. when people write they usually want to get to the root of things, so to speak, as in, see what the other poster is fundamentally trying to say, and prove it wrong. instead that's just a bunch of words that don't even make a consistent point.

Is there some guy somewhere trying to prompt and prompt and prompt trying to make me sound stupid then?

Uhhh just ask ChatGPT for a plan to mitigate and reverse any weakness from AI use?

Do you guys even AI?

i noticed how it echo chamber your own arguments.

You can instruct it not to do that. AI can be useful for fleshing out ideas you have, even for challenging yourself. Mind you, you can make the AI /too/ argumentative, where it will argue with your demand further clarification if you so much as state that the sky is blue.
