ACTUAL HAPPENING Australia's Conservative Party Has DISSOLVED

x.com/6NewsAU/status/1924643733020275142?t=gYB78yAx9sKbGxkBWXXUORA8vZsKmLhfNn5jsHNfl6c&s=19

The Liberal-National right wing Coalition which has lasted the past 81 years just broke up.

For the first time in nearly a century, Australia can arguably no longer be said to have a two party system at a federal level.

The conservatives were Ass Raped at the election and now due to infighting have officially split into two parties. Prior to this those two parties acted as one.

Hopefully they will all fall into a giant hole full of spiders as well.

This is going to be an attempt to rebrand, teals are eating their lunch so they need to convince people they actually care about climate change and the Nats make that impossible.

Thanks for the logical answer, this is exactly what they're doing, splitting the coalition to regain Liberal voters who didn't fuck with the Nationals policies.
Just wait until the next election; they'll re-join the coalition if the numbers look promising enough to kick Labor out.

The coalition isn't coming back but by pure coincidence the Nats and Libs will always vote the same.

Aside of jewish semen in their mouths, what was Australias conservative party actually "conserving" anyways?

Same as every "conservative" party on earth, they are destroying the economy and lives of the people so donors profits can increase 5%.

From what I've heard they're keeping the doors open on the coalition, just going independent for a term or 2.

Conservative Party has been dissolved

You guys turn everything into a joke

get your shit together ausfailia, sheesh

Aussies could have voted for Lex Luthor

Shame

Maybe not a monster, but one of the more corrupt and inefficient politicians to come out of our political system. Dutton's a power hungry worm

This is the 4th time over said 81 years they've split. It's to do with the results of the election which are paradoxical in their nature.

There was a massive shift to the right politically but it's seen the centre-left party sweep up a record number of seats.

This is because the far left green party was wiped out, and saw their votes move rightward into the center-left while on the right wing, saw a massive influx of protest parties against the centre-right spring up who preferenced the centre-left over the centre-right they were protesting.

The Liberals have seen this result and are trying to eradicate their point of difference by moving closer to the left and become a worse version of Labor, guaranteeing irrelevancy, While the nationals, wish to retain their point of difference and to stay the course. Which is objectively the right call.

For the first time in nearly a century, Australia can arguably no longer be said to have a two party system at a federal level.

You stupid nigger, its been a uniparty since the day we agreed to simp for the zogmericans

All this fucking retard had to do to win the election was shut his mouth, but instead he had to open it and say possibly the dumbest shit he could think of for 4 weeks.

Thats the problem with surrounding yourself with yes men. Nobody tells you when you sound retarded.

foreign politics

Not even once

IMG_5792.jpg - 242x209, 3.81K

This is going to be an attempt to rebrand

Yeah and they need to redefine the Australian right. The coalition has been nothing but a globalist patsy selling out 90% of Australians for at least a generation which is why everybody under 40 despises them.

more nationalist approach targeted at young Australians

sustainable immigration

actionable and serious energy policy that they will delivery on within 4 years to show they're not bullshitting (e.g. breaking ground on a nuke plant build)

re-focus on small business instead of big business

reduce regulatory burden across the board

more freedom and rights for Australian citizens (referendum on enshrining free speech to the constitution?)

whistle blower protection laws

That sounds like everything the Labor government is already taking action on, minus the more freedom & whistleblower protection. I put more trust in Labor delivering actual results for those if the people kick up enough of a stink about it. Can the left & right mindset die in Australia already please

"I trust labor" even though they exceeded their immigration targets by 30-50% every single quarter and blew out all of their modelling for the last 3 years?

They will drop nuclear now because the only reason they were pushing it is because they know it would take at least 20 years to produce power and that's all time their donors are still selling coal.
It's the classic "we can fix it fast", "oh no it's taking longer than expected", we are this far in, it would be a waste to do anything else now".

scomo coal.jpg - 862x485, 80.63K

That sounds like everything the Labor government

Labor is notorious for creating more regulatory burden and not being a friend of small business but your not wrong about the other points.
Labor completely BTFO the coalition by having some solid policy in areas the Libs should have beat them on like immigration and business.

fake government

"Sustainable immigration" let me sustainably remove your organs and replace them with dog feces. But sustainably!

They will drop nuclear now

Yep and Labor will have at least 8 years in gov to push the renewable energy roll out plan.
I'd argue in that time people will start to wake up to how difficult it really is as elec prices rise (trust me, 100% chance they will).
A better nuclear energy policy was always to start small and get wins on the board. It's unironcally the better approach with renewable as well.

Sustainable immigration is code for net neutral migration

Labor blew them out because everyone between 50 and 40 knows Libs have been in charge for 20 of the last 30 years and nearly every economic problem over that time was created by them.

Howard increased immigrating by 50k per year, cut capital gain so the rich were richer then expanded negative gearing to encourage the rich to invest in housing increasing prices.
He privatized the state owned power companies leading to some of the most expensive power on earth.
The fact the Libs still praise him shows this wasn't a mistake, he did what the Libs want.

Nuclear energy is great if you are Canada but we actually get sun making solar orders of magnitude cheaper.
Don't get me wrong I want us to build one small nuke power plant as an excuse to build an enrichment facility so we can build the bomb and tell the claps to fuck off but that has nothing to do with power generation.

At what fucking point do we get to expect Labor will stop blaming the LNP and start doing something about it?

Howard incentivised mass migration and fucked up the property prices. Yes. Correct. No Argument there.

Right now Howard isn't in government though, Howard isn't making policy. Howard isn't holding the tap open as a billion jeets flood through the borders, that's all labor and they have the power to stop it (See: Covid) they just choose not to.

Labor will stop blaming the LNP

I haven't seen them doing that.

Right now Howard isn't in government though

About half of the Libs that voted with him are still in the party, ignore the figurehead and pay attention to the votes.
theyvoteforyou.org.au/

we need net negative immigration. every non-white person that immigrated here over the past 20 years should have their citizenship revoked.

immigrants.png - 484x567, 78.16K

Your conservative party is called the liberal party?

theyvoteforyou.org.au/divisions/representatives/2025-03-26/3

You direction brained it. I'm not saying LNP is better than Labor at all. I'm simply saying that at some point labor has to accept that they are steering the ship and that means when things go wrong, its their fault. Especially now

what was Australias conservative party actually "conserving" anyways?

Their losses.

It meant pro-business here before our culture was killed by US TV culture.

>sustainable immigration

Is 0. They've imported millions and still try to claim that just 50,000 per year is fine. No, it's not.

every economic problem over that time was created by them.

I agree with you 100% on Howard but Hawke and Keating deserve just as much hate for their "modernizing" of the economy aka serving the country up on a platter for international finance.
At the end of the day hindsight is 20/20.
Australian conservatives need to look back and learn from our protectionist roots and do a complete 180 on globalism.

Mind fucked Americans are the odd one out.
The Liberals are named after Economic Liberalism aka the Free Market aka Capitalism.

American "liberals" are a misnomer and are actually socialists who can't call themselves such as for decades it was political suicide in your country thanks to the Cold War.

It was good to see the liberals losing their base.
Labor too, but the proggies have always been drooling retards so for them not to get the game yet, not surprising.

Howard's policies are essentially irreversible without causing mass bankruptcies and homelessness

libs fucked it all up

Ok, labour jordies. What's stopping lovely labour from cutting immigration to 0, removing all 2.5 million students on visa, plus reversing all the immigration over the past 10 years at least on grounds of it being allowed by corrupt officals who seek to defraud Australians?
And what's stopping them from making sure anymore immigration is White only instead of non-White only?
Nothing, because both parties are functionally the same and amount to the exact same result.

what did they conserve?

You're a shit troll.

Unlimited immigration isn't irreversible. Cutting CGT and Negative gearing on future purchases isn't irreversible.

Nobody expects it to change overnight but long term policies that will trend the alignment of wages and house prices can be safely implemented. Healthy inflation combined with easing of price growth will cause that realignment, but labor continues to do nothing.

The coalition isn't coming back

It will. It's the only way they've been able to beat Labor so many times, by combining votes to win seats.
The Nationals are worse than the Liberals when it comes to serving big corporations, but rural voters are dumb as fuck.

recession.jpg - 815x428, 70.17K

Howard incentivised mass migration and fucked up the property prices. Yes. Correct. No Argument there.

March of time is brutal. People who weren't even alive when Howard was PM are now posting here. Howard's immigration numbers were pitiful compared to what Labor increased them to the moment they got into office (both times, after Rudd and then Albo) but in fact once of the major criticisms Howard faced towards the end of his tenure was entirely about him being too strict on immigration and that it was racist for him to demand that immigrants conform to the Australian way of life.

Addendum: Celebrating interest rate cuts is fucking retarded when house prices are still growing faster than CPI. The problem is getting WORSE but retards are celebrating because they might be able to afford 3 extra nuggies per week from mcslop in a months time

it would take at least 20 years to produce [nuclear] power

That time frame is impossible. It's more like 40 years and double the price, given all the evidence from European and American reactors in recent decades.

Muh you weren't alive therefore my opinion supplants reality

Wrong on both accounts. In Between 1996 and 2007 Howard increased 457 visa migration from ~110,000 to over ~210,000 and 457 visas for business from about 5,000 to ~90,000pa. Howard also increased permanent Visa Streams by 300% from 30k to ~100k.

Howard objectively massively accelerated immigration relative to population, and every LNP/ALP faggot who followed has simply continued the trend. No pm has increased immigration as % more than Howard, until albo came long.

Wait, it's actually you, jordies? All you care about is your green energy bullshit, as if you want to live inside a wind turbine or some shit.

muh green steel

What's stopping lovely labour from cutting immigration to 0

Doing that as the boomers are dying off will exacerbate the existing skills shortage, it should be reduced but if you think the same decade the boomer die is the right time to cut it completely you don't understand economics.

removing all 2.5 million students on visa

Foreign students are paying for the free courses labor introduced to help with the skill shortage.

reversing all the immigration

They are citizens now, you would need to make it legal for the government to revoke citizenship and deport people which isn't a power I want the government to have as it could be used on anyone.

You are right but if the rebrand works and retards forget the last 30 years they might take a majority without the Nats, even with a lib minority they can deal with the nats to pass bills.

True, as we would be starting from scratch 40 to 50 is probably more realistic.

can't read IDs

You are as smart as I gave you credit for.

The problem isn't the increase or decrease of immigration. The problem is immigration itself.
Stop wasting energy on symptoms.

bringing 10 people in is the same as bringing 1,000,000 people in

You have had a few too many nangers over the years mate.

it is like some welsh area Australia were an Irish town we know our land we know our right

I'm voting Steph Hunter

steph.mp4 - 720x1280, 2.93M

Only sub-continent IQ thinks zero immigration would ever work. The discussion is about sustainable migration.

You mean the faggot liberals got ass raped
National did fine

Why did you lie, anon?

Party Has DISSOLVED

It's a coalition, an agreement between two parties.

lasted the past 81 years just broke up

They've done this multiple times over the past 81 years and they always got back together.

For the first time in nearly a century, Australia can arguably no longer be said to have a two party system at a federal level.

That's just nonsense. They'll be back together as soon as they have the combined numbers to form government.

Conversely, the Nationals base has been eroded by voters that think Liberals are too pissweak on immigration

is that the roastie that fucked half of melbourne and then did the roastie podcast circuit explaining that all men are bad, and its definitely not her blown out hole behaviour that selected the wrong men?

They'll be back together as soon as they have the combined numbers to form government.

<femoid leader
Which is never

you would need to make it legal for the government to revoke citizenship and deport people which isn't a power I want the government to have as it could be used on anyone.

It shouldn't be legal for the government to import foreigners and give them citizenship and the right to vote but if they are going to have that power that should also have the right to revoke.

I'm not as retarded as that anon but I do think zero can be done it'll just take at least 2 decades of drastic economic overhaul to reproduce the economic conditions of the baby boom.

If that were true we would see Hanson or Palmer gaining, that isn't happening.

even with a lib minority they can deal with the nats to pass bills

Indeed. My current but minor worry is that the Greens will continue to team up with their Liberal and National partners to block Labor policy in the Senate.

Though I feel Labor's mandate is pretty strong that if they get much opposition in the Senate, and given now the LibNats have split, that Labor wouldn't be afraid of calling a Double Dissolution election. Doubtful though as the risk is too great.

Labor has the chance to consolidate hold on the both houses and annihilate the Greens influence once and for all.

They were cuckservatives. Pure jewish cocksuckers.

That bitch has no chance she's just the bench warmer. Mark my words, they will dump her 4 weeks out from the election and install somebody that hasn't fucked up yet

Boomers don't need to be replaced.

There is no skill shortage, nor was there ever one.

you don't understand economics.

Economics 101: As the supply of something increases, its value decreases. For example, increasing the labour supply decreases wages. With less people in a given country, there would be less division of labour and economies of scale.
Also, immigration of workers that are below average productivity will reduce the average productivity of the economy, which matters when considering all redistribution policies. Thus, it doesn't matter if immigrants clean toilets or work as bankers. They cost more than they contribute.

Despite being statistically insignificant, the few somewhat profitable non-Westerners, no matter how many generations they’ve been in the West for, can't pay back into the system because all the wealth, capital, resources, and territory siphoned off to those aliens could have gone to Westerners and the children they could have had if not for those aliens displacing them in the first place, not to mention all the Westerners that have been left behind or pushed into poverty just so any one of these aliens can be accommodated and artificially uplifted.

Immigration ruins economies. Racial homogeneity grows economies. If you need immigrants to win anything, least of all non-White immigrants, then you've already lost.

They are citizens now, you would need to make it legal for the government to revoke citizenship and deport people which isn't a power I want the government to have as it could be used on anyone.

Everything to do with COVID was illegal and the government did it anyway. And the current immigration policy is illegal, especially since it wasn't even put to a pubic vote, the law itself was illegally changed decades ago.

birth rates are plummeting everywhere except for subsaharan africa so in 2 decades the only choice you'll have is to import millions of the blackest nigger apes you've ever seen

They've never brought in just 10 people, nor would they ever.

Millions have already come in. If you can't work with that then immigration clearly doesn't work.

we do that already. Have you met a sudo yet?

Correct. Which is why we need sustainable migration. Sustainable migration means migration we have the infrastructure to support and candidates from countries with views that are compatible with the local populace.

Sustainable migration doesn't mean import half of fucking india to clog up the roads with doordash degens

If that were true we would see Hanson or Palmer gaining, that isn't happening.

They are in votes, just too dilute to translate it to seats. ON increased by ~1.5% of the vote compared to 2022.

If sustainable immigration exists, then it firstly requires mass expulsions of those who came in, in order to uphold the carrying capacity and to make room for genuine immigrants, then a Whites only immigration policy from the Anglosphere or Europe in the low tens of thousands.

But you somehow thing 100,000 indians per year is better than 1 million of them when all it does it slow down the results of the problem.

Birth rates are falling as the average age of first home buyers has risen from 24 to 42, people want families buy can't afford them.

Economics 101

I agree growth immigration is used for wage suppression, sustainment immigration can't be used to suppress wage growth without a raising unemployment rate.

Everything to do with COVID was illegal

Give me a law.

True, the sad thing is Hanson does anything Gina asks and Gina wants thirdies working the mines for $20 a day.

If sustainable immigration exists, then it firstly requires mass expulsions of those who came in

never going to happen. This is a pipedream. What ifs, could haves and should haves are meaningless. Worry about what can be done now.

ON increased by ~1.5% of the vote compared to 2022.

That's fucking nothing for a single issue party considering the rampant immigration problem.
I bet Pauline would have done well if she didn't support limits to free speech to protect JEWS and wear a star of david scarf in parliament to worship JEWS.

Why would anyone vote for that immigrant loving party anyway?
Faux right-wing and you all fall for it.

just going independent for a term or 2

Copium.png - 220x201, 62.02K

Her main problem is 3rd party voters pay attention to policy and she's just Libs with "less" immigration.

what was Australias conservative party actually "conserving" anyways?

nothing
the liberal party has always been about destroying australia to line their own pockets as fast and as easily as possible.

if she didn't support limits to free speech

This is my issue with the Liberals and Nationals. I disagree with most of their retarded corpo policies, but the fact they continued to erode and actively diminish free speech was kinda surprising to watch.

They only thing they have here is the stigma that they're better at protecting free speech and running the economy than Labor, despite proving the contrary.

YOU are the backwards ones, not us.

Silence britbong, if it means having less of your kind in our genepool then I'm all for it

Yeah she's just banking for retirement now and like all boomers completely cucked on the jews. I voted for Katter's party, but it's all meaningless really - I don't believe there's a political solution. We just have to wait until the boomers die, then clean up their colossal mess.

The LNP was supposed to be the "freedom" party and the price you paid was a few corporate concessions. They read it wrong and went hard on the corporate concessions with none of the freedoms. Now they're basically non existent.

Australian conservatives need a Nigel Farage, someone who looks like your favorite beer drinking, cigar smoking uncle

While this is true I think it came about more from the nats wanting to preserve their base. They clearly still want to pursue nuclear and they clearly still want to pursue net zero 2050 target. The libs blame their loss on nuclear even though there was nothing wrong with that policy except they were so limp dick about it and they obviously have to accept net zero by 2030 to get the teals back.

Conserving the ability for you to get on a leaky boat and settle here cobba

Then it's never improve. Everything will get worse and that'll be the end of this country as the continent itself becomes a third world wasteland.

You're part of the problem and there's no point in participating, especially since people like you only make everything worse.

They need a fucking Charles Martel to close the borders, toss the Chinks, arm everyone to the teeth, and start building submarines and AAA.

Lol! That's some cope there didgeridoo bros.

they pretended they don't actually control immigration
which is why the number was close to a million the last few years

like oops we're the government but that's not in our scope of power or responsibility

This is because the far left green party was wiped out, and saw their votes move rightward into the center-left while on the right wing, saw a massive influx of protest parties against the centre-right spring up who preferenced the centre-left over the centre-right they were protesting.

Plainly untrue. The Greens maintained their vote share. They lost seats because the liberals got so raped that it became a contest of Labor vs Greens which meant the Greens could not get labor preferences and 90% of lib preferences would go to labor over greens.

Protest parties

The Trumpet of Nothingburger and PHON didn't even do that well and they also sent preferences to the libs anyway. The liberals did not lose votes to these minor parties in any electorate.

You're part of the problem and there's no point in participating

You're saying it wrong.

You're part of the problem and I'll make sure you never participate again.

Try it that way, you at least have some hope in your own hands.

Faux right-wing and you all fall for it.

No I didn't

The zogbot amerimutt has a point.

Liberal. 1. willing to respect or accept behaviour or opinions different from one's own; open to new ideas.

The exact opposite of the LNP

Why would we want some backstabbing cunt that'll bail on us for New Zealand the moment things go south?

oh thank fuck you're already punching that other retard who trusts labor in the face all good bro sorry

I want to accelerate the process with the day of the pillow

This election was the first where the boomers weren't the majority, our time is now.
As a 42yo that remembers state owned banks I propose voting socialist as they are the only ones that want to renationalize the bank and have the state own things for non-tax revenue like we had when water, power and comms was state owned.
I know that's a hard sell on Anon Babble but the reality is when shit was good for the boomers we were more socialist and it's capitalism that's fucked us.

The Nats can't lose their base, they get generational votes by subsidizing diesel for farmers and all they need to do is say they'll increase the subsidy 1% and they can't lose.

12 hours a day we get sun you fuckwit
so every house in the country now needs a 15k battery

fuck off nuclear baseload to cover the fucking lot thanks

Why does Clive Palmer persist? Why do almost 300,000 people vote for him?
I mean seriously, does anyone actually think he gives a shit about Australia?

resultsMay20.png - 1160x627, 46.73K

This perfectly sums up the difference between US and AU voters, claps are all about vibes while at least for now we still look at what they actually do.

Pumped hydro mate, I'm an industrial electrician.

Because they surround themselves with yes-men who refuse to till them when they're being fucking retarded.

So like the autistic kid with way too much encouragement from their support team, he shuffles his fat ass out on stage and does a little dance, thinking everybody loves it

stumble into old ppl home

wait for the first dementia patient to say hi son

return to their room

pillow time now

repeat 15 times a day 7 days

i've heard worse plans

The libs are full police state at this point. They spent years being tough on terrorism only for these policies to be used on everyone but the terrorists.
Because their policies you end up with the head of fucking ASIO saying the greatest threat to the country is the white men native to it.

ok so you need the job
nice you're honest about it

i just want all the coal burning again really
i mean we just send it to china now who burns it anyway and gives their ppl a kWh @ 7c

Rennick also proposed state owned banks and Fraser Anning before that.

~260,000 aussies are legally retarded

The numbers work out.

Pumped hydro mate, I'm an industrial electrician.

Yeah, but only closed-loop pumped storage hydro.

Pumped hydro mate, I'm an industrial electrician.

Too many retards lap up the pumped hydro propaganda and convince themselves that strip mining a city sized hole in the ground to get exotic metals for batteries is more environmentally friendly than moving a large amount of water uphill

As a strategic voter, I put all the majors including the greens last then work my way up from there.
I may have voted for trumpets of patriots "first" but I did so knowing full well that they wouldn't win. It's just an act of protest to show that I'm not happy.

the existing skills shortage

being an uber driver isn't a skill

an entire country who utilises only mopeds

given a car and let loose on AU roads

whose idea was that

renationalize the bank and have the state own things for non-tax revenue like we had when water, power and comms was state owned.

I know that's a hard sell on Anon Babble but the reality is when shit was good for the boomers we were more socialist and it's capitalism that's fucked us.

I agree with this, but it has to be minor parties that aren't completely retarded. QLD Labor sold off a heap of public assets, so they can't be trusted any more than Liberals.

I voted Greens first and I don't regreit it. The Greens are the only anti Israel and anti ZOG party in Australia.

ok so you need the job

I do shutdown work on mines, I don't base national policy on what's best for me personally.

i just want all the coal burning again really

Prices went up when the price controls set when Howard privatized expired, renewables are cheaper.

One of 50 doesn't do anything, 20 of 20 socialists want it.

No, you could setup near the snowie without a closed loop, you just have a smaller lower dam to hold your pumping water.

Grid level battery is fucking retarded, pumped hydro is the only viable option at scale.

QLD is fully owned by the mines, neither major is worth shit there.

we cannot fix this system without destroying the labor and liberals
and probably stringing them all up too

Prices went up when the price controls set when Howard privatized

so nationalise again

the housing bubble and unfair employer/employee power dynamics

No, you could setup near the snowie without a closed loop, you just have a smaller lower dam to hold your pumping water.

The point is to keep it away from natural water

What do going through a pump do to water than going through a turbine doesn't?

It's just an act of protest to show that I'm not happy

That I can understand. You have to have your priorities to decide how to vote.

For me, I decide on 3-4 key policies or issues I place importance in and vote based on them.
No party is good or perfect so I feel it's best to decide on a few key things at any particular election.

immigration of workers that are below average productivity will reduce the average productivity of the economy

So by that logic an immigrant say a banker would be having a net positive effect on productivity?

doesn't matter if immigrants clean toilets or work as bankers. They cost more than they contribute.

The minimum salary listed for a banker is 95k which translates to about around 23k in taxes not to mention their discretionary spending stimulating the economy which is an overall net positive. Furthermore Australia has faced per capita recessions on and off since 2019 meaning immigration was practically the only thing keeping the economy afloat.

no matter how many generations they’ve been in the West for, can't pay back into the system because all the wealth

This is only true for unskilled labor as skilled migrants are brought in to plug holes in high demand sectors and are usually paid quite well (nursing, aged care, education) and ultimately pay taxes towards services they as non citizens will never be able to access such as public housing, centrelink and medicare.

Obviously the water being used is pumped or rained in to begin with.

QLD is fully owned by the mines

Yes and no - the bulk of the seats are in the SE corner, and that's also where the bulk of people that don't have anything to do with mining live. Both parties want the revenue, but that's no different to gambling.

probably stringing them all up too

Agreed.

There's some pretty wild ideas in that list...

rain falls on mountains

flows into river

builds up at dam

released though turbines

a small amount is held at the bottom

pumped back up when solar is strong

flows back down though turbine again

I'm promoting them as hard as I can because it's the only future I see for the country. Even if they only get to 5% that's enough that the majors will be forced to implement some of it.

They are busy conserving three things:

corporate profits

real estate investor/developer profits

Israel

Be literal subject matter expert on infrastructure-level energy storage

4chin faggots STILL argue with you about how it works

It always happens, my favourite is arguing with claps about why 110v sucks ass but despite having half the voltage the US still has the highest rate of electrocution deaths in the west because they are just that stupid.

Imagine telling someone just 2 months ago that Albo would win and win so hard it quite literally destroys the Coalition.

2 months ago dutton could have won the election if he just shut the fuck up and didn't say anything. But alas...

What was the reason for this and how did it happen? Also who is running the show as of now?

You're talking about a country that couldn't launch a 1/3lb hamburger because 1/4 looks like a bigger number

No argument there, retard.

Just pointing out that pumped hydro in general isn't best, only specific types and turbines.

I assume you meant to reply to TL;DR The conservative leader (Peter Dutton) was tracking to win the election in a big way because of a general dislike of the performance of the incumbent (Labor, under Anthony Albanese).

When the campaign started, Peter Dutton started flinging out retarded policies, and then backflipping on them literally days later when the backlash landed. Their own party started turning on each other and in the end the only policy they had left was to build a nuclear reactor, using technology that doesn't exist alongside costings that looked like a child scribbled crayon on a napkin.

The incumbent ran on a platform that was basically "We will do more of the status quo". Nobody liked it, but after Peter Dutton opened his mouth, this suddenly became the sane option.

Literally all Peter Dutton had to do to win the election was shut the fuck up and not say anything retarded and they couldn't even manage that. He fucked it up so hard that he lost his OWN seat which he had held for 20 years and got kicked out of parliament.

Fair point.

It's needs geography that allows for two dams with a large upper storage and a small lower storage that will get plenty of rainfall.
This makes it shit in flat areas or areas with little rainfall but makes the Blue Mountains and Great Dividing Ranges perfect.

.

It's not infighting, the Nationals wanted to be Far Right NS (non-groyper) like NSN after all.

first female liberal leader

Coalition breaks days later

1000014331.gif - 128x128, 14.56K

Imagine going to an election promising your constituents that you would welcome building a nuclear reactor in your own electorate.

Turns out people just can't live anywhere they like and it's best to ecologically nest everything like any other species would.

did every western country just sepukku over the last 4-5 months because muh donald said tariffs?

Not at all. Donatellos tarrifs are the greatest thing that has happened to australia in decades. Based Trump

For what its worth, the Liberals are dirtbag jewish capitalist neoliberals. They've only got 28 seats now, to the Nationals' 18. Analysts like to say this was a reaction to trumpism, but by and large I think it was more a rejection of neoliberal economics.

Housing crisis

everything is far too expensive

"Lol, what if you were allowed to take from your superannuation (retirement fund for yanks)" - t. petey dutty

would both drive up house prices instantly and obliterate millions of people's super.

no plan to ease cost of living

half-baked nuclear "plan" that will scuttle all attempts at having nuclear power for the next decade at least

The death of the Liberal party would be an objective good. The Nationals are just agrarian semi-conservatives with some populist economics, so I'd like for them to succeed on their own.

Re-brand back to the Nationalists, anyone?

Sepukku would imply the conservatives are the better option, they aren't.
They are the party that:

took our guns

sold the banks

increased immigration

increased house prices

introduced a 10% sales tax

cut corporate tax rates

They hate us, Labor hates us slightly less.

You do understand this is half our total annual usage right? As in we could fill the dams and turn off all power plants completely for 6 months and just run on the stored hydro without any rain.

Yeah. Pumped hydro works wonders.

From your previous posts I though you were shitting on pumped hydro, sorry anon.

Half the farms are owned by chink mega corps now, they can't rebrand nationalists without scaring their biggest donors.

From your previous posts I though you were shitting on pumped hydro,

Nah. But I think calling you a retard didn't help.

But this energy stuff doesn't matter when the country is being actively destroyed.

femoid leader

Are you new to politics? She won't be there long.

Good, fuck women. Maybe now the Nationals will grow some balls and become an actual right wing party.

The man who killed the Australian Right?

By "renewables" I don't want wind and solar, but rather viable tech that's genuinely clean like pumped hydro.
