Some African countries use the CFA Franc, which was pegged to the French Franc and is now pegged to the euro.
It's a way for those countries to avoid their currency fluctuating with the price of cocoa or bananas. They're free to leave that arrangement whenever they want, it's not like France benefits in any way from those countries having stable currencies.

There is nothing that forces those countries to use the CFA Franc. In fact some countries have already left, a long time ago (Guinea and Mauritania).
As I've pointed above, other countries peg their currency to major currencies.
Fucking Denmark also has its currency pegged to the euro. It's not because of some colonial domination, but because they think it's a more stable arrangement.
If those countries all left the Franc CFA overnight, there will be effectively zero impact on the euro. None whatsoever.

- Imouraren was a future project that would require billions in investments
So Niger effectively seized Somair, since that's the only one in production.
