However, we have directly observed the opposite. We've observed some small dwarf galaxies that were stripped of their dark matter. We've also seen two galaxies colliding where the dark matter (picrel, the blue areas are gravity) continues moving while the gas (pink in picrel) smacks together and is left behind.

When theory doesn't match observation, it's not an ideal solution to invent a variable that you can set to whatever number you want to make it match.

A single positron annihilating only makes about 511 MeV. That's 8x10^-11 joules. That's just enough energy to make just two photons. To blow up a city, you'd need massive amounts, which is basically impossible.
