bit of an odd question, is it okay or even good to make person who is interviewing you for a job laugh?
i had a couple of interviews a while ago and i dont know how or why but i was making the person laugh?
or is it quite a bad sign?
i dont remember all of them but just to give 2 examples.
hotel interview:
interviewer 2 of 3: Would you consider working in our glamping section, seeing as you have abit more experience than someone would normally have for this role?
Me: (after staring out the window for 5 seconds remembering all the work i used to do outside) well, i'd prefer to be an inside candidate
the other 2: *HUGE LAUGHTER*
another occasion
guy Interviewer: if you were a biscuit, what kind of biscuit that would be?
me: give answer.
me: *end of interview* i am just curious what would you be?
guy interveiwer: hmm i'd say hobnob
me: ohhh, are you abit of flake then? kinda crumbles under pressure? yea?
girl interveiwer: laughes her ass off to the point she cant breathe.
last one:
interviewer: So, what did you say you enjoyed about working security
me: i dont understand the question.
interviewer: *rephrases the question*
me: quite for about 10 seconds
me: Well, i liked the walking, uhh, making the coffee would sometimes break up the day, i liked the new computer i baught i could run pretty much anything on th-
interviewer: *broke into such insane amount of laughter she was crying*
i have others but i am worried i actaully cant relate to people anymore. or is this a very good sign that stands me out from other candidates? or is this a form of sabotage. am i funny? or is this a sign that i've fucked it? i like to think i am being straight forward. so imagine in all of these situations i am saying these words in a very dead pan voice.
