How exactly would the "regrow teeth" procedure work? You could not just inject it, imagine if the modified stem cells would end in the bloodstream and go somewhere else. You would have to grow the tooth in a tube and then implant it. But how is that better than a titanium imlant? Its guaranteed to cost 100x more.
We already used to re-implant wisdom teeth, ie you extracted, root canaled it ex vivo (quite easy to do in 10 min or less) and re-implanted them to replace a more important tooth. This treatment has been entirely outcompeted by implants.
This whole thing is basically an expensive version of an obsolete treatment.

There’s a massive difference between incisors, premolars, molars, etc.. I suppose it’s possible that there is someone out there who would want to restore it, but the odds of the treatment being successful are so slim that you would basically be throwing your money down a rat hole. Wisdom teeth are so far back in the mouth that there isn’t enough room to maneuver in order to perform a proper restoration. In USA prices, you’d be looking at a root canal for around $1200, a crown for another $1200, and the entire thing probably won’t even be able to be completed to the standard necessary in order to save the tooth. An extraction costs $180. For a tooth that provides minimal utility for chewing, which is already cracked and decayed beyond repair based on your description, I would say extract with minimal hesitation. I’m sure the tooth feels large and you might be worried about the extraction process, but in my experience, most upper wisdom teeth come out rather easy compared to lowers. Best of luck, man.
