Cnc is the way to go if you want to make money in this trade imo but conventional machining is very satisfying.

Taking cnc course next year. Theres a few decently sized cnc shops here. Manuals not bad and I enjoyed doing repair work. Maybe when I get my red seal Ill be able to have my own repair shop in my very rural hometown. Im related to or friends with most of the farmers and pretty much anyone who has heavy equipment there.

Their answer will be that it opens them up for the potential of lawsuit for creating a hostile work environment, but typically I try not to appeal to the law to determine what's moral because laws change.
