Stepping foot in an Aldi makes me feel like I'm in a favela

Stepping foot in an Aldi makes me feel like I'm in a favela
Same feeling I get in a dollar general
Extreme 3rd world vibes

Reddit is down the hall and to the left

Yeah, obviously. It's the chink slop equivalent of groceries. The only reason anyone shops there is if they need huge quantities of cheap food. Like for school parties.

I prefer lidl as they have a bakery. Germanchads can make a decent supermarket I'll give them that. What I like about them too is that they're always the same layout.

It's not even that much cheaper than Kroger

this
even cheaper than places like costco or bj's, plus all the meat is marked as made in USA

plus all the meat is marked as made in USA

That's not a good thing lmao

Jews fear the German supermarket.

domestically produced

best prices

good wages

up the ladder opportunities

community sponsorship

Vs

made in China

over priced

shit wages

manger wage slave hierarchy

filled with nigs

I feel this way at Kroger. Third world shithole.

they have a bakery

But they use the gay Euro-style shelves for the baked goods and no packaging, so the fat BAMEs can mouthbreathe all over the Danish whirls. Not to mention the flies.

Aldi and Lidl are patrician markets. Kroger/Publix/ and so on sloppa don't @ me.

they're always the same layout

that is very german

Yeah they should have them placed in behind a glass counter and have someone stationed there so they can hand you what you're after.

Aldi used to be that way. I actually like shopping there now.

Mutts can't handle European efficiency.
Keep paying out of your arse at Walshart and Pubics

I fucking hate Aldi. After they acquired Winn-Dixie, Aldi started shutting them down and replacing them with their shit stores. Food Market my ass.

Not to mention the flies.

Britian used to sail the seven seas, and you're worried about flies?

Britain has fallen.

They are not really that much cheaper. It's just they don't usually sell branded goods (fuck brands anyway jewish cunts) so comparatively looks cheaper. But if you compare like-for-like unbranded goods with other supermarket chains they are about on par.

I hate how they stack on middle aisles with useless cheap garbage chink consumer goods though.

Nah he's right, it disgusts you. He's also correct about how the bakery is laid out on the shelves.

Krogers are disgusting roach infested places. The last time I was in one I walked past spaghetti sauce on the floor that had grown mold and dried. I'll never go in one again.

>domestically produced

Uh... no?

dollar general i don't mind

Enjoy your E.Coli, Paddylad. I know better than to expect a bogtrotter to care for basic hygiene.

Feels like an efficient value-oriented modern German grocery store.
Maybe it's different for you if they have favela-dwellers for employees.

Aldi has gotten waaaay better over the past decade, I actually shop there from time to time.

Their stores used to feel like a DMV (ones that havent been remodeled still do) and their own brand food was awful.

It's incredible how, in Germany, Aldi and Lidl are basically the same store. But in America, Aldi is where squatamalans and underclass no-hopers buy corn starch, grade F meat, and generic brand soda. Whereas Lidl is always full of middle class whites and European expats buying wine, cheese, and veggies. Completely different vibes despite nearly identical prices. That's what having a fucking in-store bakery does for you.

You also have Aldi Nord in America, under the name "Trader Joe's"

Aldi has great mac and cheese and it's cheap! Love going there when I'm on a tight budget.

You've never been in to Walmart

The war of the supermarkets will never end. Here the current frontline.

I hate how they let the cashiers sit down. To me that just has an aura of laziness and not giving a fuck.

Conserving energy and reducing stress on joints. Sensible-pilled.

Yeah the overweight geriatric cashier at Aldi really needs to be standing up at all times

The only thing overweight geriatrics need is to be put down

patrician

Lidl is lifeblood.

He already mentioned Trader Joe's.

where squatamalans and underclass no-hopers buy corn starch, grade F meat, and generic brand soda.

I'm a fan of their chocolates (not super sweet and doesn't taste like puke) and their pickles comparable to clausens

Aldi, Lidl

Kek wait till you niggers get Netto

My aldis is full of college students, amish and a lot of moms. Self checkout has made going in there far less annoying.

Obviously, Aldi employees don't have anything better to do but post on Anon Babble market boosting their shitty employer. The worst thing to happen in the US was grocery store consolidation; it's been a race to bottom ever since.

lets just split our company into two separate but highly linked divisions with almost the exact same name and logo and then carve the nation in two...just because one of us wants to sell cigarettes and the other doesn't

Absolute lunacy.

its the "trendy europe" vibe you feel. poverty, and desperation.
I like Lidl, their stuff is better than aldi
Ive been to adsa and tesco and both were like being in a children's cancer ward. just miserable.

i dearly miss that Aldis. when i was in college i must of drove by the one near me hundred times before i realized that it was even a grocery store. never seen a small grocery store like that before. the quarter system, yellow walls, everything on pallet jacks.

i love that it had like 3-4 aisles and only one option for whichever category.
every time i was there just felt like i was being super efficient. the store itself looked and acted with efficiency and to be able to go from parking to walking out with a full cart of food in less than 5 minutes just felt awesome.
in 2011, you were basically at 50% off on anything you could find at walmart or kroger. so it was efficient and thrifty

i moved away and hadn't seen an aldi's in 10 years and now that i live near them again. there isn't as much reason to go to one. you don't save much money and you don't save much time. i don't like that they don't have used boxes at the front of the store ready to put your heavier items in.

i liked Aldi's alot more when it was such a thrifty and utilitarianistic place that people were embarrassed to shop there

It must be were you live because our Aldi is nice and I hardly ever see dregs there

He’s smoking again
lol just imagine typing that

Kroger sucks and it’s overpriced
I hate to say it but Walmart is better
Better food better prices

Nigger

Yeah aldis is shit. Everything german is a huge disappointment.

Aldis where I live is great although they they have declined a bit you used to be able to get good meat and imported cheese there cheap

You will eat the bug burgers, and you will like it.

makes me feel like I'm in a favela

You have to get used to it anon, especially if you aren't rich. That's your future

Fuck wagies, they're replaceable. Wagies should stand at attention when serving customers. Frankly, I think they should be made to salute me.

how are you guys not using online shops for food

It's kinda gross, but they have good meat and fish for cheap, so I go there for that. Also walnuts and pecans are very cheap. Eggs are reasonable. Also cheese. The vegetables and fruit are disgusting. But yeah, it's overflowing with spics.

Krogers are disgusting roach infested places.

And Aldis aren't?

Aldi and Lidl are fagging up their stores in Germany, making them worse to find shit in. Just slap the pallets on the floor and fuck off, if I wanted a homosexual shopping experience I'd go to EDEKA

favela-dwellers for employees

And 95% of their customers.

Trader Joe's is paradise compared to Aldi and even Lidl. It's almost like a little Whole Foods.

Every Trader Joe's I've ever been to was NPR: The Grocery Store.

I legitimately don't understand why people get a sense of superiority by overpaying for shit from a different store.

Aldi has the strangest layouts. I've only ever seen the likes in French stores.
I much prefer how Danish stores do things.

I hate how their cashiers sit down, barely say hello, and then throw your shit in the cart. It just strikes me as so rude.

Netto has started a few stores that are going back to their original concept like that.

It breaks my heart to admit that you are right but it's 100% true , even Lidl feels like that most of the time . Here in Romania we have Mega Image ( Ahold Delhaize is the parent company ) and let me tell you that it utterly shits on Lidl , sure the prices are higher but there is no comparison whatsoever when it comes to quality

Aldis in the 80’s was peak comfy desu

It depends on the Aldi. There's an Aldi in a fairly well-off area and it's quite nice, but you go to an Aldi in the hood and it's awful. It's like everything else.

just pay extra money to have some jeet deliver your groceries because you're too lazy to drag your ass to walmart

in Germany, Aldi and Lidl are basically the same store

Same class but pretty different in detail. We have Penny Rewe Edeka Netto abd a bunch of other markets over here. All with different profiles.

The one I go to, they always say hello and thank you. And I've never seen as many white people in an Aldi as in that picture. I'm usually the only one in there.

Netto

which

In the US? I hadn't even heard of them until about 2010.

aldi is leaps and bounds above walshart and their subhuman customers. I only get things from costco at this point and anything I don't need in bulk I get from aldi or any of the 10 local grocers in my area.

I have not set foot into an Edeka once in my life.

It's always a good laugh when Brits pretend like the UK isn't full of white trash.

the carts there are funny you put in a quarter why I do not know they have somethings but not that big of a selection
I think those stores big in Europe

in my town they close the other stores like Winn Dixie and replace them with Aldi
in the south you have Winn Dixie and you have Rouses

nah mate, its actually cheaper cuz they deliver it straight from the suburban warehouses. Not to mention splitting the store share with the shop. We have dedicated logistic systems for that over here. No jeets, polish drivers only

The dog with the basket

This is the true Berlin wall.
The real war of the roses.
Which way, white man?

I avoid going there except for when they have quark or icecream on offer. The franchised ones are ok, Center is woke central, and always gets the franchisees in hot water

These are only in northern Germany

yeh the favela feel is crazy especially when children play on the floor at blind turns and you almost step on them
