The model of government used by all ML countries, what you as an American would call "communist countries", is actually democratic to a higher degree than liberal democracy, where only big and especially old money has a say. Again, look into what happens to corrupt capitalists in China and then compare to your society, where robber barons are coming back and buying up everything.
