We do see that. Look closely at 11 seconds to 12 seconds in. The explosive bolts in the rotor assembly blow the rotors off right before the smoke trials come out that he was talking about. I think the crew did eject. The ejection system might have malfunctioned, maybe something got caught on something, since obviously the angles are fucked. But I do think they ejected. Definitely not flares though, Ka-52 flares don't fly that fast and the launchers aren't oriented in those directions.
