Its not just that he speaks like an elementary schooler. He has consistently lied, overpromised and underdelivered for nearly a decade. This is a guy of which it has been proven in the court of law that he cheated on his wife with a pornstar and paid her hush money. He actively runs jeet scams on the people he is supposed to represent, yet Americans eat his shit up. It's clear there is something deeply rotten in American culture.
Has he ever expressed an interest in anything other than himself, or his own self interests? I’ve never heard him wax lyrical about his favourite book, or film, or work of art. Even when he wasn’t president, I never heard him just shoot the shit for the hell of it. I don’t think I’ve even heard him laugh. He does a sort of rictus grin occasionally, but that’s about it. I could also never warm to a man who orders his steaks well done, and eats them with ketchup.
