I watched the workprint that's floating around. I genuinely enjoyed it. btw I'm nearly 30 and have mever played minecraft for more than 5 minutes. by all objective measures, it was a terrible movie, but it's so utterly schizophrenic that it's somehow charming. it's like a shitpost in movie form. it wasn't even an ironic enjoyment, it got genuine laughs out of me. I'm not ashamed to say it. ok, I'm a little ashamed. but fuck it, I'm too old to pretend to hate things to fit in anymore.
