Even the basis for evidential proof requires a model grounded in philosophy - for instance, one of the things which drove the scientific revolution in Christian Europe and not other places (like the Bhuddist east, which is more gnostic) is the Christian insistence that matter is good. Genesis, God creates and "it is good." Christ inhabits matter, purifies it. In a society without this idea, there tends to be the gnostic style belief that matter is bad, that we should separate from it like a bhuddist monk - there isn't the philosophical grounding to investigate matter, to get nitty gritty about evidence, because it isn't backed by the philosophical belief that matter is good. Just an example from the top of my head.

Even data requires some level of faith, even if it's faith in the scientific method as a process. This isn't a condemnation of your argument, I think its logical to have faith in that, but faith is still required - and not necessarily faith in evidence as such, but philosophical axioms that guide the process of producing evidence. See what I'm trying to get at?

Philosophical systems that presuppose evidence and some level of trust or faith in them are required to even produce evidence. That's just sort of a constraint of humanity it seems to me.
