I have a good education that should provide me with a well paying job rather easily in Russia. I have enough money to buy a piece of land and a house(plus air conditioning and water heater lol)

Ever since i finished university i had good jobs and girlfriends for most of the time but currently i'm single and now i have the chance to start somewhere else. Never wanted to stay in Austria for all my life. Always wanted to go somewhere else. I'm still not sure where though. Russia is just one of the options. Also considered the US and Canada since i have family in both countries and it also has the kind of landscape i'm looking for plus job opportunities but their governments and social/demographic situation is even worse than Austria's or Russia's at least in my opinion so not sure about that.

I can't really say how Austria/Russia/Canada compare, I've only ever lived here. I can tell you that the government/social/demographic issues in this country are overblown depending on where exactly you end up. Where I'm from I might talk politics once a month with someone outside of my immediate circle and that's usually just a vibe check from them. We don't have minorities and our country is simply too big to police effectively outside of the urban areas. If you're looking to settle down it's really not a bad place to do it. I want the opposite, to have an adventure and prove I exist through my own value and not just the tolerance of others which is what makes Russia uniquely appealing. I would imagine that you could have both in either country realistically though.
